Here's the work:
9x4(3x2)d=256
9x4(6d)=256
9x24d=256
24d=256/9
d=28.45/24
d=1.1851851852

Here's the work. A little long maybe.

-2x+5y-3z=178
4x-2y+3z=211
y-4z=71.

Rewriting the 3rd equation, you get
y=4z+71.
Reworking the 1st equation plugging in for y, you get
x=5(4z+71)/2-3z/2-89 which simplifies to
x=17z/2-177/2
Plugging into the second equation, you get
4(17z/2-177/2)-2(4z+71)+3z=211. Simplify and you get
29z-212=211
Solving for z, you get -1/29

Now that z is known, you plug it into the third equation.
y=4(-1/29)+71. Evaluate that and you get y=2055/29.

Using z, we can use the equation from before, x=17z/2-177/2 to solve for x.
x=17(-1/29)/2-177/2. Evaluate and you get x=2558/29.

Therefore (x, y, z) = (2558/29, 2055/29, -1/29)

Ok so if my math is correct(which usually isnt the case when its late at night like how it is now) my answer was 1.875 in. which i think isnt right but without a pic im usually fail on measurements and whatnot.

So the time taken for the ball to fall is 3.38062s. Divide 45m with this time...

v = 13.3112m/s
