I was at AX this weekend and stopped by the Project-H booth. They had some pretty good deals in there and they only got better by the day, with what stock remained of course. Surprisingly, they had the Kickstarter edition (one with dust jacket and slightly higher quality pages) of Vanilla Essence (Yamatogawa) in their booth, which I got for only $15. I was also able to get Ane-Koi Elder Sister Love (Yuzuki N') for the same price that day. The paper quality on both of those are great and worth the price.
I got Girl's Shock (Inu) as well for $15, though that has a bit more newspaper-y feeling paper. Pages are a slightly gray-ish white and have a slight gritty texture compared to the smooth ones of the other two. I was hoping to find another Yuzuki N' book, One Kore Sweet Sister Selection, but sadly they were either out of stock by the time I got to the booth on day 2 or had no stock for it at AX.
On day 4 I noticed they had a special of $10 for all books and if you bought 5 you got one more free, but I had already got the main books I was looking for and did not want to add any more weight to my luggage by that point to check anything they had left out lol.
Strange, I went to AX last year on the second day and I remember buying from the Project-H booth and books were selling for 10 bucks each. Luckily I recently ordered from Project-h a few days ago and looks like I bought the last One Kore they had in stock. Been wanting it for years but its always been out of stock.

Been wanting it for years but its always been out of stock.Yeah, it was my first time at AX and I had no clue if the deals would get any better than $15 on day 2 at the time. Sucks they were not at $10 like on day 4, but I was also not going to chance missing out on the Kickstarter edition of Vanilla Essence that day nor Ane-Koi, which I had been waiting to be restocked in their store months ago... I found One Kore on Amazon the other day and got it finally today. Had to pay the full $20 bucks plus tax but at least the page quality is one of their better ones and I finally have all the Yuzuki N' books. Now I'm just waiting on Stop Quibbling About Love, Idol Monster Girls, and Trembling Lips to ship from Amazon... whenever that may be considering the dates it has for them all as of now have been pushed back to January of 2018. It is pretty ridiculous they had two of those books at AX now, and have been on their site store for months to boot, and they are not even on Amazon yet.
I also noticed that their emanga site has been completely scrubbed of all the Project-H books. Only Yaoi stuff and non H remains there. I guess they want all the digital PH stuff on the PH site alone now for whatever reason.

Quit squabbling isn't coming out until January though?Awhile back I saw it was out of stock or something but I made my order today and it seems like its in stock right now on their main site.
Post it when you get it, because my pre order was in jan 21 for a feb 29 release which was push back to july and now january.
Here you go!

My thoughts on this purchase. No way in hell is Quibbling about love should be $19.95. The paper quality isn't that great but it isn't as bad as the earlier Project-H books. I finished the Yuzuki N book collection and the paper quality is actually pretty good paper quality. Of course no way is it on par with the FAKKU books. Weird thing is I bought One Kore for 19.95 and Ane Koi for 17.95 even though on the back it said 19.95. Finally finished the rest of the Yamatogawa books and I really want to complain about the fact each book was 19.95 but the paper quality sort of made up for the price but I still think these Project-H books shouldn't be 19.95.
Also I wanted to say something about how much I paid. The only reason I even made an order this time was a last leap of faith and I took a risk. I sorta won and lost at the same time. I used the 15% discount which helped but then I forgot I had to pay state tax which was 9% of my entire purchase. DAMN YOU CA TAX!!!! For what I got, it was sorta ok but I definitely feel like I overpaid -_-
Maybe its just me but when I first bought books from Project-H they were selling for 17.95 and they would have sales every now and then for cheaper prices but ever since FAKKU went legit and priced their books at 19.95 and the books were selling like hotcakes, Project-H raised their prices to 19.95 too. Coincidence? I get the feeling no. I've previously said this before but I seriously think there are some really shady things going with this company and their marketing of hentai. Plus I read from a blog from someone that was at AX and attended a Project-H panel and the CEO or something for the company tried to pull a pyramid scheme at the panel.

I also didn't pay taxes for Girl's Shock. bought it from the market place.
Project h is a sinking ship. Outside of ironcat studios(which my preorder NEVER CAME. I forget for what but it was in 2002) DMP/project h/whatever 7 names they're using today is shit. Which shouldn't be the case since they're older. Eros/Icarus printed decent uncensored books. Project h printed one limited ed and 5 second ed for more than fakku while delaying and stalling. What's the fucking point of selling on amazon if they never get send. Are they waiting until they can't sell their stock on there site before sending them to amazon?
Some books were late here but at least Jacob said sorry and we'll get them out as soon as we can. Never more than a month. I PRE ORDERED QUIBBLING IN JAN OF 2017 FOR A FEB 28TH RELEASE. I need Trembling Lips and i'll say fuck off PH. Even your jikan tankobons taking longer then vanilla plus two second eds and Urtosukidoji. Shit before you get the first vol, jacob would be send me vol 3 of Urtosukidoji. Plus their marketing structure is a joke. Get 200 grand and not print some for your store? Jacob got less and he printed some for the store. That is business. Use the seed more to make more profit. No wonder DMP lost so many staff and they told the truth of the hell inside.
But then again i never bought one of there books on there site and just bought them on ebay and amazon for cheaper. Complete set of Velvet kiss and Yamatogawa for under a hundo. plus color harvest(which i bought on fakku old store) Two Cute Devil Girlfriend and Colorful Dreams Which were batched with some other books... Domi-me and swing out sisters. Meh i can wait.
edit:
I remember now. Megatokyo and the no bra vol 1-2. I got megatokyo 2 later from dark horse. Also i got girl's shoch right now and the paper isn't as shitty as the 2013/14 stuff but that fucking cover paper got real shite. It's like floppy as fuck. Like a cheap magazine floppy. Like the tigerdirect or think geek catalog.

I noticed some of my PH books orders have been updated again on Amazon today.
Somehow these two traveled backwards in time...
Idol Monster Girls now says September 28, 2016, was January 9, 2018 after the last change.
Stop Quibbling About Love now says October 25, 2015, was also January 9, 2018 after the last change.
I don't know if this is good news or bad... lmao
Trembling Lips still says January 9, 2018.
I know PH has the first two of these books on hand in their possession at least since they had both at AX 2017 in their booth and they are both in their online store atm as well. They did not have Trembling Lips in their AX booth, though. If they had, I probably would have picked that up along with Stop Quibbling then and canceled my Amazon pre-order with those two but figured I'd keep it since it was a better deal still even with tax. Just wish they would actually give Amazon their fucking stock already as this wait is pretty ridiculous lmao.

Y'know this has got me wondering. It seems like Amazon, Rightstuf, and other sites are refusing to stock Project-H books or is it the other way around and Project-H refuses to sell its stock to other vendors? I know PH has its own website and want people to order from its main site but seems like people are wising up and realizing that the mainsite is just too expensive and not worth price. Rightstuf constantly restocks FAKKU books since it sells like hotcakes and with special deals too. I buy most of the FAKKU books on rightstuf and sure sometimes I pay 20 bucks for one book but its one hell of a quality book even without the digital code. FAKKU sells books WITH the digital code and for 20 bucks too.

Project hentai sells their books on their own Marketplace also. I don't think Amazon is refusing to stock their books. I think that PH is refusing to give them the stock until they're satisfied that their store sells their amount. I know Amazon bites a big part of their profits because they buy so low, but why not just sell on your marketplace where you can charge whatever the fuck you want.
Ot
Im just saying 7 books i preordered around the same time to now, 2 from fakku and 5 on amazon has shipped and delivered as of tues and 1 more by mon/wed. Im just saying why would it take 2-6 months more than you own store. I don't think the other sites that sell fakku books been delayed more than a month when fakku gets the shipment.
Edit i said fuck it and bought trembling lips since i had a coupon. Still waiting for quibbing on amazon since it's way way way cheaper. I could pre order lips on amazon, but i got a better deal with the coupon. Still 24.95 for drm digital is shitty. Only bought the book.
Enter ahegao and see if it works.
Edit: THEY SELLING THEM ON THERE MARKETPLACE NOW. Still our preorders are now called limited editions.
Spoiler:
I swear to Yahweh and Samael if this isn't fucking better than the ph store one i will 'start the fire' on the site.
New edit: They will never send it. I found 2 books pass there date.

Well since i can't cancel the amazon order because it was bunched with other stuff from jan... i'll just leave it be because they will never ship it and if they do i'll just sell it when i get it if it's the same version i just bought thru the marketplace since it's cheaper on shipping. Same fucking place but a dollar cheaper. But project h is done for me. Never again unless they get something i want which if you see my collection isn't much.
Fakku. Cheaper, better, faster and jacob doesn't blue ball you because he seems to get shit done.

I'm tempted to switch to the Project-H store to get the books but Trembling Lips is now Out of Stock on their site LMAO. It would even cost me an extra $2.22 more per book with the 20% off Ahegao discount applied than to keep my pre-order with Amazon. Though, if the other stores, like Amazon, don't get the books for months later, if ever, then that forces my hand in the matter. Wish we had official word about this from them somewhere so I could make an informed decision.

I'm assuming Amazon will get the books when they get them, whenever PH decides that they are ready to send them to them. But it sucks not having anything concrete to go on as of now. There is also the chance they will never send them because they are in a death spiral with print copies, which I fear given the fact Rebecca is gone and all their new stuff since the new year has been slated for digital only.
You should be able to cancel individual items in an Amazon order from the order page. Not sure if that will screw free shipping for your other items, though.
