I agreed with Peltor because it seemed more fair based on the little I know. On a side note, I am new enough to not know what went on before I was here, why some users are banned and who are they (illumia, koko, etc). I accept that my opinion and agreement is of low value due to the circumstances, but I fail to see what I did wrong to make many users dislike me apart from me being enthusiastic.
I don't think alot of users dislike you it's just tegumi might be in rage mode so just let her cool off and she'll be back to normal.

I think you guys are judging him a little too harshly, he's one of the few people I've noticed that actually admit their flaws and wrongdoings then tries to correct them to appease the community. I've lurked here for some time and pretty much everyone goes through a similar phase and he's made a few pretentious comments but isn't that the fault of I.B.? It's pretty clear to me when he made those comments he was just trying to fit in and gain approval, it didn't seem natural to his personality. All I'm trying to say is that you should cut the guy some slack. You're kind of acting like your own shit doesn't stink too you know? We all have our problems.

I mean, I personally don't hate SolidShark now (I used to, but I realised I was in his shoes a few years back, even every now and then). After all, you can't please everyone in this room. As I said, 99.9%.
Believing what she said is a bit idiotic I think. The truth is out there. But there will always be people that will back her up, or anyone else, so I'm not really surprised.
I'm not here supporting anyone by the way, it's just that in my honest opinion, after seeing what happen, Koko should leave Fakku and actually get a life. I can't find a reason why, if I was in her shoes, I'd be doing what she's doing right now.

While I respect your opinion I simply don't feel the same way. It would be fine if certain people just didn't care for him but they're acting like a clique of high-school teenagers bullying someone who doesn't fit in.

You're not wrong, and by all means, you can try. Chances are you're gonna be in his shoes instead of making things right. I'm not even sure if half of the users is over 18, and even if they are, it's not really surprising to see something like what you mentioned anywhere else.

Mantis is due to multiple warnings(which were ignored) and his deliberate attempt to get banned so he could study. Abusing the system is for the most part why he wont be allowed back.
Yoshii was banned by Jake for doing something that made Jake look bad, and then using the dev version of Fakku to get around a ban(thus ban evading).
You know as well as I that not everything is punished in IB, the worst cases are dealt with which is why Mantis got his perma. This is not the United States of America, users don't have right to a fair trial. When you create your account you are borrowing something from the site under the understanding that you have to follow our rules and trust they are being enforced fairly. You may not believe that something was fair but the person who runs the site has decided to trust some of us to judge what is and what isn't fair, it's up to those individuals to decide whether your treatment was excessive or not. You may not like that system but you are welcome to leave at any time if you believe that's unacceptable.

I wanted to add, my last post didn't leave any room to question us or the rules, a kind of "accept it or get out" kind of thing... That's not all there is to it, I and many of the other staff are willing to debate the finer points of our system in the feedback section. As I said previously, if you want to discuss rule changes or even argue about why you/someone else was banned, by all means(most of us enjoy a good debate), but do so with respect and proper adherence to the rules(after a ban has expired).
This thread does represent the proper approach to having a sentence commuted. Others should do the same if they want a matter discussed in the future.
