The Consumerist has released the candidates for the worst company of America.
Last year EA won, beating out the previous king, Bank Of America.
Who do you want to win? Fortunately I haven't had the misfortune of being screwed by more than half of these companies, but there all in it for some reason.
I voted for EA. Not because I truly believe they're the worst, but because I dislike them the most.

+2 working for bioware, -1 for belonging to EA.
I'm pretty sure some of the Bioware staff also hate EA.
OT: There was a time when EA was an amazing company.
Back when their intro was "EA games, challenge everything."
Now we get games with prepaid DLC's which cost as much as the actual game itself. They also went and fuck it up with the new SimCity.
So I vote EA.
Fucking EA.

Bioware doesn't make good games anymore though.

Voted apple. Scum of the earth technology wise... still. Charging out the ass for shit you can get for literally 1/4 of the price. Not even harvey norman overcharges as much as apple, and that's saying something.
Ea isn't that bad.. Granted they did hand nfs over to the burnout crew, and made nfs into burnout, thus killing nfs. The simcity issue really is pretty much fixed... And fuck you, I get a choice of dead space 3, battlefield 3, mass effect 3, and some other newer ea games for free... (awaiting hidden catch, mind you)

Last time I heard that even though Apple over charged for their products they still pretty much game people what they wanted.(crap)
And their customer support isn't horrible, at least not compared to EA's.
And no Drifter,

I dunno, the apple store in town is pretty cancerous... Customer support wise (In a 'to find out what's wrong with your shit, we have to send it off to the mainland, to get it tested.. it'll cost about $300 just for that... then it'll be additional charges on top of that for repairs' fuck that)
And from what I've seen, ea's customer service isn't that bad... They've fixed the game, it's running perfectly... they're giving out a free game to those who bought sim city on launch.
I haven't experienced any other customer service shit with them, though. Can't comment on anything else.
I will say, simcity was worth the wait. The only issue is the download usage, which affects me a tonne. Waiting for the drm free crack
Besides, the whole simcity thing, about 90% of the things people complained about were people being retarded. Everything refund related was people being retarded, and not thinking. Servers were full from the beginning (as said), updates sometimes failed (as said)... But, the server issues are all fixed.
But, this one of the first ea games I've bought in a while (besides mass effect 2)

EA because sequels.
I mean, the sequels ain't that bad. It's just that they should think of a new game already. Y'know, those games that aren't resembling their old games.
But yeah. EA sucks because they fucked up the red alert series.

1. Yes it is bad.
2. Digital copies don't cost them much especially when those copies aren't even full versions of the games.
3. Always online DRM is anti consumer, supporting such practices makes you a cancerous faggot.
4. They've done much worse than SimCity, and will continue to do so.

Equifax, experian and transunion. Credit scoring has cost me several opportunities for higher paying jobs which would be necessary to pay back my debt and fix my credit score. It's a self-perpetuating system and if you have events which cause you to leave your job (mine was a bad surgery after my time in the Army (US Army), I got behind in bills) your credit score drops, if your credit score drops you have a lower chance of getting a job which can pay the debt accrued from having left your job, which further increases the difficulty of finding employment, which then lowers your credit score and further limits your employment options.
