also European curry isn't weird at all. England owned India for ages and imports and immigrants from there also brought the food culture. Then they were adapted to the more milder, sweeter taste-buds of us Europeans. Chicken tikka masala, is said to have been invented in England Scotland. Curry is also one of the national dishes here in England.
