VALERIY: Glad I could unintentionally help with that. Well then, its getting late and I have studies to attend to early in the morning.

Yeah. *smile* Good night Val.
EDIT:
Now I was watching this "how to" video it made me think: What's the army stand about gun painting? I'm asking guys from the armed forces here. ;)

Hmm, count me in on that range competition whenever that happens.
@Lance, painting guns normally is prohibited but it depends on the CO if you're on the field. I know the US is quite lenient when it comes to painting their guns, I saw a recent picture of a nicely desert painted M4 a Marine had. Those Spec Forces from Russia I showed pictures of also we painted in digiFlora camo. So it really varies between forces. Over here, they're strict with gun painting, though I've seen cases where DMs could paint their SR25s, those guys were coming back Afghanistan so I imagine exceptions are quite rare.
Also, something awesome has come. The Bearded Man, Chris Costa, himself has a new 12-part DVD series focusing on firearms with the setting of a zombie apocalypse. The first DVD is covering pistols and is selling for $15, the next one will be on Shotguns. Here's the trailer, looks damn awesome.

Question for you 2.
I had an argument with friend of mine over weapon in a game.
Its solved because i won the argument by winning a match in 1 vs 1. But it got me intrested in it.
So here is the deal.
Which is better...
FN P90 or H&K UMP45?
Thanks in advance!

That's a hard question with no definite right or worng especially in this case we're comparing two guns that are falling onto different categories (P90 is a PDW UMP45 is an SMG). But in terms of combat I'd favor P90.
Reasons: Though exotic it's using more powerful ammunition, it holds more bulets in it's magazine (50) and it's of bullpup configuration making it around 10 cm shorter than UMP. Effective range of UMP45 is 50 meters. Effective range of P90 is around 200 meters. UMP got a standart configuration while P90 got some unique handling features.
Conclusion: If I'd go CQB I'd pick a UMP pisotl ammo is more than enough. If I'd need a weapon for personal defense I'd go for P90 because I have more freedom of where can I move while still having an effective weapon.

Thanks for informaion.

Don't rely on MW2 for realism. Also, like Lance said, the weapons fall into different categories, it'd have been better to compare a P90 with an MP7 or UMP with a Kriss.
Also, looks like my military is also in the race of developing new camo, although its very disappointing. AMP, Australian Multicam Pattern, is practically the same as Crye Multicam except it now also features our distinct "jelly bean" and "rabbit-ears" camo spots that were from our previous AusCam pattern.
Personally, I like that we've gotten a new camouflage but seriously, with all that "effort" put in and disproportionate amount of money as well, I'd have just gone for simple Multicam. Anyway, these cams are going to be issued to the boys in Afghanistan at first but I'm assuming they'll soon be standard issue even for us guys back home.

@Data: I see.
EDIT: BOW BEFORE MY MASTERY OF GOOGLE-FU! Arashiko Yuuno from http://myanimelist.net/anime/8424/MM!
@Kei: Well it looks nice. I would like to see Czech armed forces at least develop a new uniform rather than new pattern. They also could stop making our uniforms in China and give a contract to a Czech company... -.-

VALERIY: Got some interesting news, Faxon Firearms(a subsidiary of Faxon Machining) has released their first product, an AR15 upper receiver. But this isn't your ordinary AR15 upper, it features a long stroke piston loaded for 5.56mm and/or .300 BLK.
The piston is inspired by the AK(you can see Kalashnikov's influence in the receiver design) and its gas regulator is that of the FAL. It uses a forward charging handle which can be switched to either side and comes in a left ejection or right ejection version.
The it will retail for $999 with a 5.56mm barrel, $1099 with a .300 BLK barrel and $1299 for both 5.56mm and .300 BLK barrels. If Kei could have an AR15, he'd definitely would want this(probably would want one in a higher calibre configuration)
And more dramatic news, looks like the Palestinians have acquired some FN2000s, complete with a grenade launcher and the special scope. Most likely explanation of this would be that the now-former Libyan rebels are exporting rifles they procured during their civil war, it was known that the LNA(Libyan National Army) used(among other things) FN2000 rifles.
Anyway, that's all for me. Imma go and make some Pelmeni now.

Damn right, I'd get that receiver in a flash if I had an appropriate AR15 rifle. I swear, the laws in this country piss me off. ==
Indeed, never thought I would see the FN2000 fall into such hands.
If you're making pelmeni, Imma come over!

A very versatile cuisine at that, there are many many variations with different kinds of fillings ranging from sweet to savory.
Val's pelmeni were quite bland and the dough was quite thick, still pretty good for a first attempt, made quite a mess kneading the dough.

Tell me about dough that doesn't make a bit of mess.
