Kamp Kuzma: The Operators' Campgrounds (For Operating)

VALERIY: Ah, so now that is why you were excited for his return I see.
Anyway, here's something nice for you Garand lovers. Guy named Tim Shufflin(of Shuff's Parkerizing) has made a nice conversion kit for the M1 Rifle. Designated the Mini-G(G obviously meaning Garand), it features a shortened barrel, modified operating rod, adjustable gas plug and the receiver has been parkerized*(obviously, how could this guy not do any parkerizing while modifying this gun or any other gun for that matter). The barrel can also be replaced to feed .308 Winchester/7.62x51mm NATO or .35 Whelen(which is a more potent, necked-up .30-06). The guy even converts it to use M14 magazines virtually making it an M1/M14 hybrid.
[size=12]*Parkerizing is the process of making a metal surface more resistant to corrosion(rust) and 'wear and tear'. Done through a lot of sciency stuff(an application of electrochemical phosphate conversion coating.), you'll find a lot of firearms with parkerized parts, this is of course because obviously, parkerizing is very useful for firearms.[/h]
Also, seeing as Kei has left now and it is definitely likely that he won't be around for the while. I'm going to cease posting the 'Valeriy' disclaimer.

This caught my eye. This is great, not much of a Garand fan, but I like their design. Any information about rifles that can fire revolver rounds? Or Revolver rifles?

Or Revolver rifles?I believe you are talking about Revolver Carbines and there is quite a lot. They were popular back during the 1800s when the best thing they had in terms of action was revolvers. Here's a Colt Revolving Rifle Model 1855

Of course that is an actual dedicated rifle with a revolver action, most were simply revolver handguns with an extended barrel and stock attached.
@Lance, Parkerized M1 Garand to go with a Parkerized M1911. ^^

I¨m not much of .45 fan. I like 9x19 or .40 S&W if I need more stopping powerIt works as a set. WWII G.I. with his trusty Garand and sidearm. Though I agree, .45 isn't really for me, I'd go for 9mm Parabellum or .40 S&W.
Kel-Tec Sub-2000 with a Glock 19/23.

That brings an interesting question, do you guys stream or DL your anime?
I download it so I'm able to watch it again without the pain of loading it once more.

I download it if it's just that good to rewatch someday. But due to disk constraints, I stream it mostly.

I mostly stream... but im going to switch over to downloading it. I spend $100 earlier this year on a 1.5TB HDD and Im not even using it... time to start using it. :/

Yeah you should.
It's a waste because in 07 (when 1TB border was breached) the price of HDD per 1GB is 0.88$. They think that they might be able to make 1 Petabyte breach (1000TB=1PB) sowhere around 2015. BY the way as of now Google proceeds around 20 Petabytes of information on daily basis. These aren't fresh data so it might be even a few more. Not to mention GMail have a storage capacity of 10 GB per account which is still rising.

So I just made some delicious potato croquettes. My cooking skills are continually growing.
This is gonna totally suck for Kei(since he's gone for three months) but at the same time awesomely awesome. Warwicks, a popular TV and Movie prop manufacturer and supplier in Australia, are manufacturing M4 AR-15s. Right here. In Australia. Why is this big news? because any semi-auto or full-auto firearm imported into Australia must be destroyed after its intended use(mainly applies to film) so because these are made locally, that law does not apply meaning you can keep the M4.
When Kei hears about this, he's gonna be freaking out because he's been wanting to get an AR-15 to use rather than the F-88. The rifle, called the WFM4(Warwick Firearms M4), costs $9000 US but luckily Kei has been saving for this day. For a LONG time. Should be easy enough for him to acquire an appropriate license for it as well.
