I have decided... im not going to buy a gun. What are you gonna buy then. ^^ Was it too expensive or what?
I actually found a new .45 for $199... but I just changed my mind. Carrying around a gun just isint for me. That is the conclusion I have come to. Even as a kid I fired my uncles gun and to be honest... I didnt like it.

Oh yeah, the next year is coming soon, I imagine those 2012 prepers must feel pretty stupid. I wonder what 2013 will hold in store for us, I have a feeling its going to be quite exciting on the global scale.

KEIROVA: Haha, I read that post Val and I gotta say, that should be an article in the newspaper, heck, from what I read, I'm pretty sure you'll be seeing one like that in the paper. I mean, how the hell does one miss a countdown?
Stay safe all, I'll be on duty all through the night into the new year but you, pleasant dreams.
VAL'S EDIT: Well, I'm back home and on my laptop now so I might as well repost that FB post I did.
Thank you Australia for once again fulfilling my expectations of you, may you fall to ruins this year.

That was the most disappointing spectacle I have ever witnessed in my entire lifespan, Kylie missed the countdown, the choreography of the fireworks was horrible and was only followed by equally horrible acting from the hosts on how "amazing" it was. And am I to be mistaken in spotting last years fireworks display in the midst of appalling choreography? Seriously, its as if the managers of this thought the world was really going to end and when it didn't, they were like "Holy shit man, we only have like ten days to organise this."Thank you Australia for once again fulfilling my expectations of you, may you fall to ruins this year.

So, have any of you guys heard of the new PenCott camouflage schemes Britain has been designing?
So far they had three schemes; Greenzone, Badlands and Sandstorm(names are pretty self-explanatory) and recently, they've shown their new scheme "Snowdrift". A three colour winter camouflage, its probably one of the best snow camouflage I've seen so far.

I'm quite surprised that they played "Erika" for Black Forest Peak's backing track in Girls und Panzer. Most of the backing tracks they had for each school was a favourite of mine; British Grenadiers, Katyusha, Polyushka Polye and such.

Which one did you expected?Panzerlied, Es war ein Edelweiss, Der Hohenfriedberger, one of those.
On another note, I bought a 5.11 Tarani C.U.B. Karambit today. I spotted an M9 Bayonet(marked and all) but I didn't have enough for it so I might get that another time in the future.

I see I never was much on these marches so I only know a few by ear.
To continue your another note: I ordered a kerambit too. United Honshu Kerambit Black S this week.

Looks lovely. Personally, I prefer folding Kerambits but fixed bladed ones have more freedom in designing an ergonomic grip as I can see with that one.

I prefer fixed blades over folding ones. I have only one folding knife a several fixed blades.
I prefer a bit exotic designs like Kerambit or tanto over other shapes. My favourites are Tanto, dagger and kerambit shapes.
I also kinda dislike combination of straight and serrated edge on one blade, but I have nothing against a one bladed knife with serrated edge on the other side of blade (like on some M9 bayonets).

Kerambit and Tantos are a favorite of mine as well but I prefer folded and fixed for each respectively.
And I agree with serrated edges, my survival knife is similar to an M9 in quite a few ways, it having a serrated section on the blunt end being one of them. Hopefully I'll be able to go back and get that M9 sometime soon. . .
