VALERIY: Definitely not an M1 Abrams, if I were to guess, I would have to say the Israeli Merkava Mk. 3 or Mk. 2. Tis a beautiful scene nonetheless. Its Challenger 2, since it weights 62.5 tonnes and the image had www.defenceimages.co.uk
VALERIY: Well, I'll give you that. Personally, I never really turned an eye to the Challenger. When I think of tanks from Europe, it's got to be from the Germans. Or Russia, they're technically European(even though more than half their country is above Asia)

Hehe.
I find german toys to be bit more intresting.
But i understand what you mean.

I must agree. Whenever you say tank my first image aside of Abrams are T72 and Leopard 2
EDIT: Also I don't like to b*tch about it, but since Friday we have floods in the city. I'm okay. I live on a hill and far from the river but it is still unpleasant... -.-

VALERIY: Indeed, although I myself would have to go for the newer T-90 or the WWII legends of the Russian T32 and German Panzer IV or Tiger.
Hmm, I also live on a hill so even if it did flood here, I wouldn't be affected. Matter of fact, I enjoy when the water level rises to about ankle height. Only excuse I can find to wear my gaiters outside of hiking.

VALERIY: Alright then, well I use 6" boots and they do the job. It's not like it ever floods here but I do hope we get some rain going by Friday. I time before so I can play around with my package once it gets here.

VALERIY: Please do, send it so that it floods the whole place.
On another note, these seem pretty lethal. Rac-em-Bac has developed the Bow-Mag, an arrowhead that loads a .38 Special or .357 Magnum round on your arrow. Giving a hunter the stealth delivery of a bow with the lethality of a point blank slug. A pack of six retails for little less than $40 USD.
On the topic of bows, my friend has enlightened me on some of the biggest bullshite that is my country's legal system. It takes a fuck ton of paperwork in order to acquire a small arm of any kind, be it pistol or rifle, not only that but airsoft has been outlawed since 1986. For some retarded reason, they will allow anybody to buy a compound bow without license, a weapon capable of dealing lethal injury or death with stealth at sniping ranges. And there are a whole range of different arrow heads you could attach like the Bow-mag for one, it is unfathomable that I have to sign so much to acquire a weapon that is less effective than a bow(given the situation) that you can just buy from a counter. That's my rambling.

That is nasty.
Here bows are regulated after they surpass certain strength of pull. It's interesting that here you can have airgun up to 16J but Flobert only up to 7,5J they both have about the same strength and penetration as far as I know only Flobert goes Boom... -.-

Hmm, some laws don't really seem to make much sense.
On another note, Vietnam's got an upgrade to their arsenal with IWI(Israeli Weapons Industry) agreeing to set up shop there. Vietnam's armed forces get the benefits of adopting Tavor-21 ARs, Negev LMGs, Galil SARs and Galatz Snipers. They're assumed to invest anything around 100 million on this manufacturing plant which will be the forefront to IWI's presence in the Far East market so we can expect to see some of their bad boys in neighbouring countries sometime in the future as well.

VALERIY: I think this is pretty interesting, seeing some of IWI's products in the Far East Market. Pretty soon we'll have other manufacturers moving in as well like H&K, FN Herstal and SiG. It'll be nice to see all the countries there finally update their arsenal from the old Cold War weapons they're hoarding(they can make profits probably by selling it over to the Middle East >.>)
What's also interesting is this DIY man, Jing Zhen, who is developing a multi-calibre AR-15 magazine. He started the project in late 2011, dubbing his prototype the Longziz #2 which was capable of loading 6.5 Grendel, 6.8 SPC, 5.45x39mm, 7.62x39mm and standard 5.56mm/.223 Rem. This is an ingenious idea, if implemented with multi-calibre rifles, this would solve the logistics problem which I addressed before about SOF units in Afghanistan who run out of their 5.56 and left with nothing but AKs. With this, they can reuse their STANAG magazines(multi-calibred) with enemy ammunition.
This magazine was dubbed the Longziz #2 as he had done a project before, obviously named Longziz #1. However, unlike the #2, this project was not a magazine but a bullpup design that implemented the AR-15 lower receiver. What is genius about his design is that it uses the AR-15 lower receiver in it, meaning he could sell it as a kit without having to worry about complicated licensing paperwork.

The universal magazine is pretty damn good idea. I wonder why nobody has tried it before.
As far as the lower receiver goes I'd really like to know how it functions. :)

VALERIY: Indeed, like I said, that multi-calibre magazine implemented with a multi-calibre rifle(the Beretta ARX-160 for example) would be a perfect solution for the SOF as well as any armed forces in general fighting in counter-insurgency operations.
I imagine for the lower receiver, he's linked the new trigger to where the AR's trigger is with a tappet. Other things like the safety may be a more complicated story.

Welp, I'm finally back. I see you all had a lot to talk about which was nice. If that guy does a Kickstarter to mass produce those magazines, I'd give him all my money.

Put my recruits though hell and amazingly they made it through alive. They've earned my respect surely and I'm pretty sure after that they've understood there's more about the military than shooting.
