I handmade this today:Spoiler:
This is what it actually is :D
Spoiler:
And how it looks as a whole:
Spoiler:
That's pretty good, you intending on having a romantic dinner with somebody sometime soon?
I wish.
Actually I made it for my flatmate. That's his wall but all of it is my work (the mirror which is right next but is not seen also hangs on a frame made by me).

I see, so you're the handyman between you two. Reminds me of one of the Lieutenants I know. On his wife's anniversary, he made her a rack for her gardening tools and a flower carved out of wood. Pretty amazing workmanship.

That must've been really amazing.
I'm at the level you see above. I can handle things around the house plus some extra things like installing new dropped ceiling while balancing on Platform steps (the handle piece which is above the platform) with one foot and second on cabinet while barely reaching the celling. or making a glass stands.

*pretty much fortified from the baloon to the bolts* this aerial baloon's a floating defensive position.

Mainly, we serve as a refuel/drop off point and if necessary, a carrier, for CAS and MEDEVAC aircraft.

Well, the one I use the most is the standard issue given to me from Army, that includes the ECH(Enhanced Combat Helmet) which is similar to the American ACH/MICH, TBAS(Tiered Body Armour System) which fits quite nicely actually. My standard rifle is the F88 Austeyr which is my country's licensed model of the Steyr AUG, while I do like bullpup weapons, I don't much like the F88.
My favorite firearm in my possession is the SR-25 that I bought off a friend of mine from 2CDO going along with my Glock 19.
Personally, I'd love to get my hands on a FAST Helmet and CIRAS if I could and my favorite firearm of all is the Kalashnikov series.

I would prefer a light vest and standard service cap , the P90 is my favorite primary and G18 the secondary.
But most of the time a stahlhelm and falschrimjaeger outift with Stg-44's complete with Potato Mashers.

Ah, a historical one aren't we?
From what I would understand of your load out, you're going for something CQB/Urban. P90 is a good compact weapon that can be maneuvered in tight areas and packs a nice punch with it's PDW caliber. It's drawback would probably the unique round it uses which is more or less uncommon. I'd opt to run with it's sister pistol, the FiveSeven, but G18's auto capability would allow you to deliver more lead.
If it was something WWII-ish era, it'd have to be something Soviet for me. 1943 model plain khaki uniform, SSh-39 helmet and a SVT-40.

Spoiler:
H&K MP5(early A3 model from the looks of it) with a backwards loaded magazine?
Hmm, must be something to do with anti-theft but personally, I'd just not have a mag in there then.

The gun is not working anyway and it is behind a fat sheet of thick polymer plastic (it wasnt glass thats for sure)
Doesnt that hurt the gun?
And they have Mini-Uzi as secondary.

Depends of the gun. If the magazine is perfectly rectangular(symmetrical and whatever) then it shouldn't do any damage to the magwell, bolt system is another story(depends on how hard you're banging it in there).
M4s/AR15s for example, you'd be able to load a STANG backwards(though I don't know why) and some militaries load the magazine reverse(so where the rounds feed is out of the gun) when storing their rifles so that when they're quickly deployed, they just flip the mag.
MP5 mags are trapezium cross sections from what I remember so I do imagine it took a bit to force that mag in there.

Interesting discussion.
If I may add my two bits:
What I'd wear would depend, but I have: MCCUU, Vz. 95 complets and partially BDU, Vz. 60 and Patriot fleece jacket in coyote brown. I have boonies in MARPAT, Vz 95 and BDU. Also have Helikon SFU pants in black
As for footwear I for now have only Vz. 60 boots.
as for vests I have LBV (IIFS one), South African Commando vest in Woodland and British chest-rig in MARPAT (kinda novelty right?)
As for my firearms of choice:
sidearm a 9mm Either CZ 75 or it's variant or H&K USP. I also miht add a Vz. 82/83 in 9mm Makarov (because it seems like a gun I will actually own in recent future)
as for rifle I don't really have a favourite. I would be okay with almost anything that shoots well and is reliable.
If I should pick a preferred it would also depend on situation.
PDW I would go for Magpul PDR or MP5.
as for rifle: Vz. 58, AK family or AR-15 family.

Supporting your locally made products, I see.
EDIT: Here's a nice image of the Jordanian Special Forces in their trucks. Interesting how they mount Barret .50 cals(M82/M107) on revolving turrets. I think these are meant to be used in the same way the British WWII LRDG(Long Range Desert Group) operated their modified Bentley trucks in Africa.

Yeah the only problem is that local market is kinda overpriced. The same pistol is more expensive here than in America. For example P-07 Duty cost around 485 USD while here you pay 755 in USD... -.-
For a standard sized CZ 75 Phantom you pay a bit more than for Glock 17 4 gen and in one gun shop they offer a deal that if you buy Glock in their shop you get a 1000 CZK (51 USD) coupon for accessories. That's enough to buy an extra mag and double mag pouch...
But there is a bright side. CZ is making a carbine conversion kit for their line of P-07 and P-08 which is cheaper then the Glock one. If you buy Duty with conversion even with that stacked up price it still comes cheaper than the same for Glock.

VALERIY: Now I can't really understand why they would charge it so much in the country of development. I'd imagine they'd want their people to be buying it as much as(or more even) other countries they're selling it to.
And nice with the carbine kit. I've seen many of those for pistols, mainly for 1911s and Glocks but none really took my fancy. Although it isn't really a carbine kit, I'd like to handle a Magpul FMG-9 which uses the Glock system.
Also, just needed to let you know that Kei left about two hours ago. He's been put on Commander duty, which(need I remind you?) is basically the daily rotation established between the senior NCOs in Kei's company(Kei included) of taking care of dinner for the company commander because she is hopeless with food.

^I do kinda wonder how that works. With the dinner for the commander.
I think that if I take that carbine kit into consideration it's nice deal, but still buying an CZ 858 for 304 USD is in my mind more logical step.
Yeah I don't get why it's priced as such. You can buy 3 7,62x39 rifles for a cost of one pistol?
Also I have talked about some things with Val here and we came across Camel spiders. I did a bit of research on them and urns out they're not really dangerous, but their claws can cause and tissue damage that can get seriously bad when infected or if the puss starts to form.
