VALERIY: Definitely. It's very annoying playing a team based game with people who like to be 'lone wolves'Yeah. as much as I like to play lone wolf I'm not doing that on expense of a team.

VALERIY: Looks like somebody is a fan of Millenia's mods. I'd recommend the "AKs and ARs mod" it adds a whole bunch of different AK models like the 47, 74, RPK, SVD, etc. I'd also recommend the mods from Impernator(or however you spell his name), I went through the Mojave with a Mk.46 Mod. 0, SCAR-H and MP5SDA3.
Hehe
I used Magpul Masada ACR.
good rifle and the modifications allowed me to use it in every situation.
VALERIY: Masada was a good mod I'll admit but with games like these I like to have weapon diversity and it's not really that fun when my entire squad is armed with Masada ACRs no matter how logical it is.
Back when I was playing NV, I loaded a bunch of companion mods(mainly ones that were voiced) along with XSquad(command system is pretty simple and worked how I wanted it to). So it'd be me and a group of 6 companions(3 voiced) running exotic gear like some I mentioned earlier.
In otherwords you were like a special operations group right?
VALERIY: Meh, something like that. If it weren't for the dumb AI who don't feel the need to get to cover and would rather walk into the hail of lead, it would have been fun commanding and maneuvering my squad.
Ever played Rainbow Six?
I remember that game as pain since i wasnt able to lead anyone properly.
Depends on which Rainbow Six you mean. Up till third instalation (Raven Shield) it was the military/police simulator the closest thing to realism OPF and ArmA aside. After that (Lockdown and up) it went down a dumbster which I hated. -.-
VALERIY: Rainbow Six 2. I remember how painful it was, setting up the team at the door and making my way to another door to breach from there and accidentally pushing the wrong button, sending the team to stack up at my door. Or sometimes when the AI was blocking each other's paths on the way to a door or when they decide to be retarded and take a long way to where I wanted them to go.

Well, I wanted to write Ghost Recon, but my brain went to Rainbow 6.
But what about ghost recon.
I actually managed to successfully complete some missions
VALERIY: GRAW2 was also quite annoying, camera restictions when looking through the UAV or when the game won't let me set them in a certain way behind cover. AI was much dumber than Rainbow Six.
Also, page 500

So this is what the topic is called. And i tried to find Kirov airship like an idiot.
But HK21.
In gaming experience, i had that in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Pretty good time
Then again, it was fallout universe and mod.
But back to the think i wanna ask.
G3 battle rifle?
Do you guys like it?
Since our forces are armed with G3 variant called AK 4, which is made by Swedish.
Playing through Fallout NV with modded weapons from the start was so much fun, modded in a SKS, Mauser C96 Broomhandle, Makarov, PPSH-41, and just for fun an Engraved Gold Plated Desert Eagle that are available in the doctor's house in Goodspring at the beginning. I need to do more modern firearms in my next playthrough, going through the game with an AUG, FAL, or a Tavor sounds like it could be fun.
You will have fun
I had fun with this
Spoiler:
Welp im going to have to go back and mod one of those in, maybe Hitler's Buzzsaw as well, if a mod for one even exists.

VALERIY: If I remember correctly, there was a person who did a MG-42 port mod from F3. Obviously with belt-feds, there aren't appropriate vanilla reload animations and no modders have bothered to make one.

VALERIY: Back on the topic of exotic weaponry, how about the OTs-14 Groza?First thing that comes to my mind?

Hey broCHambered in 7.62 and another version in 9mm, this gun looks to be a prime candidate in close quaters, 500 mm length of OTs-14-4A-02 allows space to move it.
The best thing what i like about it that it looks simple and it has somewhat of a AK-47 look and charm on it

Groza. Yeah It's bullpup Ak-74U or at least partially. It's an interesting shooter but ugly as hell :D
Sa vz 26 (Sa 23, Sa 24, Sa 25 and Sa 26) are Czechoslovakian "family" of SMGs generally known as one of the first examples of "Third Generation sub-machineguns" and as a heavy inspiration for a bit later (and more famous) UZI SMG. It is a first production model with telescopic bolt and progressive trigger.
I think what makes this weapon really interesting is the progressive trigger. It's the same feature that was used on for example Steyr AUG rifle. This trigger is a replacement of fire selector. If you pull the trigger lightly it will shoot only once. If you pull it farther then the gun will fire a automatically.
Now to the topic that's really alien to me. Revolvers. Now don't get me wrong I don't really have anything against revolvers, but they're just not stuff for me.
Medusa M47 Multi Caliber Revolver.
This baby is impressive by it's unique ability. To shoot over 25 different cartridges like 9mm, 357, .38, .380 ACP etc. etc.
While the concept itself is interesting as hell It's rarely heard about this gun though it's on market since late 1990's (I heard something about really few made). It can also take rimed AND rimless cartridges.

VALERIY: Yes, for gamers, Groza would be most known from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I honestly loved having this gun until I managed to get my hands on some NATO firing weapons from dead Mercs. Ugly as hell design obviously but it got the job done. To avoid confusion, it had models loaded for 7.62x39mm and 9x39mm(Shooters often associate 9mm with the Parabellum caliber)
I've had a go with progressive triggers. Accidentally squeezed the F88 too hard during our Cadet shoot and shot off three rounds(We were doing single shots at 200 yards, 10 shots only)
Likewise, not fond of revolvers but one that I'm particularly interested in is the Russian/Belgian Nagant 1895 because of its unique gas-seal system which was obviously not common with revolvers. If you've seen that Hickok video that I keep posting whenever we mention revolvers, you know how a revolver usually is.
Multi-caliber weaponry is always an interest. The Medusa M47 is probably the first revolver I've seen that is capable of multiple calibers and the appearance reminds me of an MP-412 REX.

I don't think I ever shoot at 180-ish meters. It's hard to find a big shooting range. I think there are few but I know only indoors.

VALERIY: It was a pretty far distance but thankfully we were using scopes as well. It was pretty horrible when that burst went, my third shot went over the mound and fucked my score up.

I did a little research and largest ones around are around 100 meters. I dunno if there is a 180 or 200 meter around if there is I do not know about it and have no way of finding.
So how does F88 feel? I only held a 1:1 model of AUG.

Hmm, heavier than I thought. I don't know why but the AK I fired felt lighter. Strange considering that's made of steel and solid wood and the F88 is a polymer stock. . .
Recoil is what you expect from a 5.56 and the bullpup config gives you a front row seat to the smell of cordite whenever a casing is discharged.

The last thing is really cool.
As far as I know bullpup feels heavier in hand because the weight center is on the buttstock where most of mechanism is.
While normal styled rifles have it usually centered above the grip.
Do you also like the smell of burned gunpowder?

I need to go on a shooting trip.

Well here we usually use FMJ, TFMJ, SP or LRN. JHP and other ammo with "increased wounding effect" is outlawed here for civilian purposes and you need a special permission to purchase.

Hmm, I guess that would make sense.
And to answer your question, it's not that I don't like it but I could certainly do without.

I admit I really like the smell of burned gunpowder.
I really want to pay a visit to a range sometime soon.
