VALERIY: Very sad to hear of this. Three days ago, a soldier from 2nd Commando Regiment was killed in action during an engagement in Afghanistan. They only released the name half a day ago and much to Kei's dismay, it turned out to be his mate.

He doesn't know when they plan to organize a funeral but at the moment, I'm pretty sure Kei is really feeling it badly.

Didn't mean to bring some negativity into the thread but rest in peace, soldier. You've done your duty and now you can finally be at ease.

I just read both articles on army.gov.au. Leading a team under heavy fire to rescue a wounded and then successfully clear a stronghold? That guy must've had some guts and calm mind. Very respectable.

Is actually reccomended?

VALERIY: As far as the initial technique goes, I think it's viable. Getting the drop on your opponent by making them feel complacent has always been a working technique.

I wouldn't really know so I'll leave it to Kei or any other individual who feels they do to confirm.

I think it would be really tricky to pull out. A lot of training for that.

Oh my, oh my. It has been too long. I am surprised that I am still a chef here, a Kirov, huh? Interesting, never cooked in the sky before, only on boats, and cars. Since it's a kirov though, I suspect it won't be as shaky as a boat.

VALERIY: We usually wait for an official resignation. Also, it won't always be shaky like a boat unless we get hit with some strong winds or flak.

Kei isn't around at the moment(for quite a while actually) so you'll have to wait for him to approve or find a more appropriate title for you.

Apologies for not being around a lot recently, it's nice to see Anzei around again. As for a new title, "Old man that talks too much" is quite long, I'll have to use Lance's idea and dub you "Talkative Sage"

Well, everybody, it would seem Kei is getting a lucky break(god knows he deserves one). Not even a day back from work leave and he's been assigned to the next rotation for Operation Mazurka, the ADF's contribution to the Multinational Force and Observers based in Egypt.

This'll probably be the closest to action he'll see considering the whole situation going on over there at the moment. I only hope he'll get through it all without any more mental strain than he's going through already. Not that anybody has seemed to notice. . .

I've got a friend in Egypt. Aside of talking about religion (She's Muslim and I'm sort of Buddhist) we also talk about situation over there among other stuff. It seems like it will calm down at least a bit. From our last conversation she seemed quite happy about now ex-president pulling down. Hope Kei will get through well.
