I think it's because fans see characters like, say, Momiji and Daiyousei, as a "clean slate" because of the lack of info on them. Nothing much is known about them, but they're in gensokyo, so the fandom has a lot of room to go wild on. Like BiBi I don't mind it that much, but it would be great if ZUN makes characters like them more fleshed out.It's okay since everyone has their own opinion. I understand that much.
But then again, would that make separation between fellow fans like "I am not going to shove a cactus down your ass for liking your Momiji as long as you don't condemn me for liking my own Momiji". With that being said, I suppose if those people have time to go wild on characters that they don't even own, then they are better off making their own characters that they can put make-up however they see fit. Surely it'd be more interesting that way.

I'm not 100% okay on how fandom portrays characters; I just posted what [size=10](I think)[/h] the reason is on why fans tend to flesh out the characters on their own. I even said it'd be great if ZUN fleshes out characters like these himself, to avoid this.
There are a number of things I don't like regarding fanon.. like Mokou being depicted with cigarettes.
There's nothing I can do about it though, so I just don't let it get to me.

Well, those things are nice too. But I am more referring to people who seem to disregard the lack of actual information for more fans-friendly Momiji fanon counterpart. Just my opinion, I think Momiji, or every character for that matter, deserves better than just that kind of recognition. More nice stuffs is good, but excessive exploitation is a no.

Hmm, I don't really remember it clearly. But since the top of Eientei inhabitants in my list was Udonge, ranked #17, Eirin should be somewhere near that, like maybe #22-24. Is there any cool reason about why you seem to respect Eirin highly?

A cool reason, he says. I don't think I have one. I'll go with the short answer: I like Eirin because of who she is. If Udonge is your top Eientei resident, mine is Eirin.

The entire reason I went with those words was to avoid a bloody Jen-quiz. That sure backfired quick.
