Yeah, and I have Japanese unicode too....
I have no idea either, it just crashes when I press "Start Game".
Which is funny, since Touhouvania 2 works normally.

-Intructions to boot the game in foreign languages-To make the languages in-game appears properly, the computer OS has to be set in the same language.
For instance, if the OS is set in Japanese, the accents on French characters will not appear.
If the OS is set in English, all the Japanese characters will appear as question marks.
We strongly recommend to set your OS in the proper language (in "Changing Language for non-Unicode Programs†Ž") before launching the game.
-IMPORTANT-
Therefore, if the OS is set in a language other than Japanese, the game may not boot using the Japanese exe file.
In that case, please use the application Koumajou.exe (C:\Program Files\Frontier Aja\ç´…é”城ä¼èª¬ 緋色ã®äº¤éŸ¿æ›²\Koumajou.exe") to launch the game. Finally you need to RENAME the FOLDER (ç´…é”城ä¼èª¬ 緋色ã®äº¤éŸ¿æ›²) in alphabet ("Koumajou Densetsu" for example).
Touche, there is no troubleshooting.
How about config.exe ? Have try to change some option ? like Vsync or whatever else ?

Okay, I think I got it.
Basically, for the English version, I need to set my unicode to English.
So I fire it up using AppLocale that is set to English. Ironic, isn't it?

Well, shit ... lol.
Then it worked now ? Hopefully yes.
Yamame :
Not really, it's more like an elegant yet childish princess if you ask me.

Yes, it worked.
Reimu suddenly became badass, with that chain and all.
Mmmm, I did some Touhouvania II early today (didn't go far though). I must say, Yukari's voice is just trololololo as I had expected it to be.

Remi still got my vote for the most appropriate voice.
and Reimu is undoubtedly very badass in Touhouvania 1 and 2.
But then again, Touhouvania 1 is harder. Tighten your seat-belt when facing Suika, you will really need it.

If it's not Unlimited Hazama or Hakumen, it ain't really hard.
It comes down to fact that these games controls are just horrible.

NU CAN RAEP YOU WITHOUT HER NEED TO GET CLOSE TO YOU www~
Well, yes .. the controls are horrible, and so as the ridiculous enemies attack range. You will find it funny when you got hit while you are sure that the attack haven't reach you .. yet.

You obviously never fought Unlimited Hazama.
Oh, he gets worse if you do story mode as Ragna
Spoiler:
But this isn't a place for that.
Mmmm, true. Though for me it's more of button positioning. Arrows are fine, but why is attack key a freakking Z!?

Aye , i want to play Continuum Shift as soon as i get the chance.
/end BB topic
How about set the controller to your preferences instead ;p ?
Though i don't mind if it's "Z" because you need "X" to jump.
Closer it is, the better.

You know...the Queen of Tsudere, the voice of Shana.. Remilia sounds like her

I'd prefer A.
If all the keys are in straight line, I find that I often press the wrong one.
For example, if you know that the jump button is below the one you're pressing right now, your hand will remember to go down. If it's in straight line, you can end up missing it, because in a hurry you moved your hand too far.

It's quite different, i guess.
Remi's voice is more elegant somehow, lol.

Spoiler:
Gotcha,
If you played GBA, i bet you will get used with straight line for keys.
rather than complaining about controls, how is the development there ? met Cyro-freeze yet ?
