I'll be honest that I am actually forcing it since Koakuma is no way inside my field of artist-knowledge.
Like what we all know, Sakuraba's style is very gorgeous, that's applied without any exception, including his Koakuma. To be honest, I am not really a big fan of short-haired or obedience Koakuma since it's clearly contradict what ZUN indicated in the interview; But Sakuraba's Koakuma in "Going Home" doujin succeed in persuading me to deny my own dislikes, not to count that she looks beautiful in every-picture.

In shorter and simpler note, I recommend Sakuraba's Koakuma to all people who want to find a great fanon interpretation of said character.

I didn't realize it... I had been using the homing amulet the entire time, then switched to the persuasion needle... I gotta say that the homing amulet gives an easier patterned Patchy, imo.

Get used with the homing amulets first. It's basic of the basics, if you can master it, then you are one way closer to Touhou mastery /lie

So... what's the rank of difficult among the options you choose for Reimu and Marisa?

It would be inaccurate to measure them side by side, since it depends on how well you can use each individual pattern, and it is affected largely by your playing style as well.

Having said that, Reimu's homing amulets "can" be considered as the basic of basics, since all you have to do is focus on dodging without having to align your shots.

Okay. I guess that means I have a long ways to go then.

The key is not having a social life, you'll get better at it in no time =)
