For the topic about Flandre being playable character/enemy. If I could choose, then I wouldn't want to see Flandre being a playable character, especially in integer numbered Touhou installment. PC-98 aside, ZUN kept the pattern of (half)human-only casts for playable characters in Windows line, that's better not change.

The best i could think for Flan to make another note-worthy appearance is in mangos or literature. So far, her only official note-worthy non-game appearance for me is :

Just like what you said, it's probably more interesting than the ordinary ones. It's stated that Koishi is only visible to certain children. As we know, Flandre is considered a young vampire, thus making it possible for her to see Koishi. I would love to see their canonical meeting.

I fail to see the connection between age and being able to see Koishi.
