There was once a time when I used to be very friendly with him - I don't speak to him for... so many weeks (iunno) and then suddenly it's like I don't like him anymore. But, it's like "Er, you haven't spoken to me either, so why didn't you try?" It's just frustrating.

And Sam, I would be lying to you and Shane if I didn't say I noticed things you were talking about but that doesn't make any less my friend than anyone else here. That's what makes him human. He's imperfect but that imperfection is also what makes him strong. If he is able to work through this issue then he will become a stronger person, more active on her, good friend to everyone, and make him much more social. Something that would benefit himself and everyone around him. If he does those things, then instead if adding fuel to the fire. Let's us remind he should better himself and he has to better himself for multiple reasons. It does count idealistic but doing something is better than doing nothing especially since I'm his friend.
