"I should go now..." he mumbled to himself.
Zai already up and about. Ready to leave his humble home before sun rises. He primped his everyday T-shirt and pulled up his usual baggy pants, the height of comfort for him since he prioritized how he felt rather than how he looked. He gazed at the sight of the morning sun rising one more time before heading off to the entrance hall.
Zai went into the entrance hall putting on one his pairs sandals, which were old and worn down but still usable, as he got outside into the fresh breeze and locked the door behind him.
"I'll just leave this here" while leaving a note on his front door before heading off towards his destination, The Matou Household.
The Matou Household was large house on the hill just West of Zai's. It was a western style home with many rooms and such. The residents of the house were Matou Sakura and her butler Ayasaki Hayate.
Zai approached the grand house's gate like he usually did. And quite naturally climbed over the gate. See, the reason Zai goes to the Matou Household was to freeload of the them for breakfast and occasionally dinner. Being such a busy guy Zai never had the time to cook for himself, so he would survive days on end with nothing but Nutella Sandwiches. Reasons unknown to him Sakura allowed Zai to come over for breakfast one day. And so this has been a ritual to him to drop by everyday to have a square meal.
So, Zai entered the main Kitchen of the house and sat down by the breakfast table waiting for Ayasaki to come downstairs from waking up Sakura.

When Sakura entered the dining room, she saw that her friend was already helping himself to breakfast. Hayate was calmly standing in the corner of the room observing the hall.
"Ohayogozaimasu ojou-sama." He greeted her as he led her towards the table.
She calmly took her seat at the table and started to eat the breakfast Hayate had made. It angered her that this man could make better food than her. However, one cannot underestimate the power of a professional butler. He also looked like a girl, so that helped with her mood.
She calmly turned to Zai who was eating her food without a thought. She put on a smile as she wondered how he got in. She was going to have to talk to her butler.
"So..." She started. "How did you get in Zai-kun?" Perhaps she was getting careless with her barrier fields...

A friend of mine named Shin lived in Onibichi, a quiet little suburb just a short train ride away from Kyokai's lower east side. But I don't like to ride the train when in the company of a woman, so I carry Tiffania piggy-back style and dash across the rooftops of Onibichi's homes.
"GAAAH!!" She barely uttered a word as we traveled, but the occasional drop or rise of altitude would make the poor elf scream or gasp in terror.
In minutes we finally reach out destination and I skid to a stop as I land in front of Shin's house. I let Tiffania down, but she drops to her knees instantly.
"You okay?" I ask her.
Her eyes are in a daze and her head is slumped back. "My legs won't work" She groans.
Poor girl. I take her into my arms and carry her to the door, causing me to have to use my foot to ring the bell. But just after I do I notice a shape from the corner of my gaze. As soon as I look, it leaves and I raise my eyebrow in surprise.
So far there's no response. I ring the doorbell but still nothing, until finally.

Footsteps were heard from the stairway in the main hall. Zai could see that Hayate the butler had already completed his task of waking up the Lady of the house, Sakura.
Zai just sat there at the breakfast waiting for Hayate to set out the dishes as he usually does every morning he's around. Hayate always cooked up amazing dishes and today was no different. As he set the dish in front of Zai the aroma of the food was so good that one could taste it.

I was correct. I was lying on a bench in the centre of what seems to be a park. "W-wha!?" I gasped in amazement, I raised my hand in level with my eye, I stared at it... no, I was spacing out. I used the same hand to pinch my cheek. I don't know why I did that, maybe to check if I was dreaming. But then I realized, it's impossible for me to dream. It was once, but since my fall that gift was already robbed off me.
Anyway, I sat up and noticed that just beside me was a pond. I decided to check it out. I had no interest in looking at the fishes there, that would be ridiculous, but rather I wanted to see my reflection on the water's surface. I dragged myself there, it was hard for me to stand up and I could barely walk. My limbs which only experienced walking for a month were already crying at me half way there.
Upon reaching there I immediately glanced at the face that appeared to greet me. And there I was. I was wearing a blue hat as before, white scientist robe and a blue blouse underneath with matching yellow necktie around my neck.
"I- I'm alive..." These were the first words that came out of my mouth to the real world I was just born in.

The so called Ghost today's client requested her to investigate had been nothing more than a case of a crack in a wall that allowed the wind to blow things around. The client, the principal of this catholic school-as it turned out-offered to pay in advance. But for reasons like this, Taki wouldn't accept payment until after she finished her task... That and the way the principal had been eye-balling her made things very uncomfortable.
She left with more of the students and staff's eyes upon her. But on her way back she stopped at a blacksmithy on the way. To her relief the blade-forging techniques of Japan's past were still practiced in this day and age, but she didn't think she'd end up living around one of them. Still she found the term 'Steam Punk' strange.
But such a thing was worth a look anyway. Taki just hoped the place was open

Lucy leads the kunoichi to a back room and pours her some iced tea. They chat for a while, but their conversation seems to stay within the bounds of idle small talk, Lucy sharing a little tale about setting up the smithy and Taki going over her mission, if she would even call it such.
"It seems you're adapting to life rather well, Taki" Lucy comments.
Taki sighed. "I suppose. This place, this era: all of it takes a lot of getting used to. I'm glad I could still find work in my nature trade... But at the same time; the idea that demons still terrorize the innocent in an age that writes of the supernatural as mere tall tales. I fear the world may not be as prepared as it once was when something big arises..."

I got no choice.. So i tell them what happened last night without adding any unnecessary info, like Chronos.. She also explained that among the Tayutai i released last night, there 3 most dangerous Tayutai.. Namely Ouryu, Nue, and Ho-ou.. Their power matched those beings called deity, and to make it worse, they hate humans the most..
S : "In the other word, it was my responsibility to let those creatures out.." i said as i recalled what i saw last night.. they must be them..
