as me and Lucy came home we were greeted by himeko, Chii, Nayuki and mai "welcome home elfen" they all said cheerfully

i snif the air "mmmm what smells so good?"

"thats your dinner" Nayuki replies
"well it smell delicious"
"go get washed up and you can have some"

i look at my work clothes and my filthy hands "hmm i suppose your right" i go off to the bathroom and get washed up

"so lucy" himeko says in a inquisitive manner "where have you and elfen been??"

"we just went for an walk" lucy replied

"oh so thats what they call it now an "walk" hey"

"....."

"wow lucy thats some pause there" mai said cheekily

blushing "what we wemt for an walk, we talked and we came home"

"sure you did lucy, suure you did" himeko said as she winked

As she thought the forest now scream of demonic energy. But it would seem this youki was simply left over residue as those who created it had long left. Taki asked the locals for information, but their stories didn't deviate much from Lucy's version: some being first-person accounts, others word of mouth. Again Taki could only sigh as the world seemed oblivious to the mystical nature of this occurrence. The kunoichi then realized Lang mentioned he would be going out, perhaps he would have heard something.

"I hate this thing..." But much to her own chagrin, Taki isn't very techno-savy, hence she clumsily strikes random keys on her cellphone.

About half an hour later.

"Lang, did you hear about something happening in Onibichi?"

You mean that lil' event with the light show at the end? Just finished talking to Shin about it and he says that some raise called 'Taiyutai' got out and one of them's living with him.

"Did you say one of them is at your friend's house....?" Taki sounded distant and her left eye twitched.

Oh, shit. I know that tone. Whenever Taki sounds like that, she's worried or trying desperately to hold back her anger.

"I'm near the train station, meet me there in 15 minutes" She says before hanging up... Which took a good five minutes.

News of the other day's incident spread like wildfire. Some claimed they had actually seen strange creatures running about. Others began setting up appointments with psychiatrists to determine whether or not they've gone insane.

Such a thing would be especially apparent at Takeda Yusuke high school. A large school set in between the calm Onibichi and the bustling Kyokai no Rando, students from the two regions commute by train, bus or car to get there before the late bell. The school is quite notorious for its policy on tardiness.

But little does anyone know that the creatures they speak of are actually among them, disguised as people as well.

Nothing is said at first, Taki just regards the figure standing behind Shin for a moment before turning to him. When she looked back at him she noticed him to be in some bad shape.

"Are you alright?" Taki queries.

"Yeah, just great. So what brings you here?"

"Something weird has been happening here so I thought to check it out. Not long ago I sensed a powerful youki here. What were two doing?"

"Just working out" Shin responds casually.

The Taiyutai behind Shin looks a bit worried. It seems Taki knows, or at least has an idea. When the kunoichi looks at her she just nods.

"In that case, take care of yourself, Shin-san" Taki says as she walks down the street.

That one in particular probably isn't a threat. She would have killed Shin by now if she were . But that one possessed a powerful youki, even for a tayutai, or at least a distinctive one anyway.

Taki wondered if any of these creatures had gone towards the city

i woke up particularly early this day went to the lounge and turned on the news
"whats on the news" said Mai as i jumped "im not that scary am i elfen?"

"it's not that you jus startled me is all.." i clear my throat" seems strange stuff has been going on in the forest"

mai gave an look as if to say something was wrong
"whats wrong Mai?" i asked

"it's nothing ... hey did you finish that sword for me?"

"yup i just need to get it blessed and purified before you can have it"
"did it survive your "test"?"
"yup ... i'll be picking up peices of hammer off the floor for months yet"

she hugs me "thank you elfen your the best"

i always found it reassuring that the residents of my household could trust me so much

Somewhere in down town Kyokai-shorter name for the city region-, a group of men walked amongst the bodies heading towards the residential district. Their garb, a strike contrast of modern Japan manage to catch more than a few gazes. But those gazes are warded off by that of the group's lead man. With sharpened eyes and a sneer, passerbies left and right are silently shooed away.



When they finally arrive at their destination, the group of four find themselves before a tall apartment building.

"According to the rumors, brother, he in this building." One of the men informs the leader.

"Tsk..."

"But that's not all" He continues. "He's also living with alone with some women!"

"Hmph. Lang Ying may be many things, but I didn't think him to be a lecher! Whatever; it's about time I pay him back for Fo Shan!"

The crowd begins to stir after the display. The leader of the supposed 'gang' sneers at the sight again. Suddenly the crowd near the apartment building begins to clear and when I come out, I'm met with an unpleasant sight.

"Oh my god not you again" I mutter and palm my face from under my hood.

The leader smirks, then steps forward a few paces. "I've been wondering where you've been hiding, Lang Ying."

"Lemme guess; you're hear for a rematch?" I remark.

The man nods then turns to the crowd. "Everyone, I am Sifu Feng Jin of Xiangdong province! I am here to challange Lang Ying to a singular duel and prove once and for all that my gong-fu is indeed superior!" He then turns to me. "I've come a long way since our last meeting in Fo Shan. And I assure you, boy..."

He takes a stance.

"You will know humiliation!"

I smirk and take a stance too. "Let's see you say that after I'm done kickin' your ass."

"Soooo you gonna hit me or...."

"YAAAAH!!!"

The man leaps at me thrusting his fists in rapid succession. I move my head aside and knock one of the punches away as I side step. But as I do the man turns and goes for a spinning backfist that I duck under, prompting him to kick once I do. I grab his foot, pull him towards the side while instantaneously sweeping the other leg.

Once he's on the ground I try to apply a joint lock, but he quickly escapes and lands a kick to my chest. The attack knocks me back. He doesn't waste a second using the spring to close the distance, but I anticipate this and sidestep the attack, causing the man to kick a hole through the door of somebody's car. I step in with a kick to the face that he blocks and I block a punch he throws in retaliation.

A few dozen blows are traded on a dime and I find an opening and trap a punch while sidestepping and hitting him with a back fist to the face and send him back with a twisting kick to the temple. The man stumbles into his entourage.

"Hmph" He sneers again.

"Can I go now?"

The man gestures towards one of his followers who hands him a broadsword. He glares at me as he takes stance.

"Lang-kun!" I hear Momona cry out to me. When I look I see Tiffania went and got the others. All but Taki look worried, but the sight seems to catch Feng and his followers.

"Tsk, I guess the rumor is true, you are a lecher!"

Feng charges me, but he doesn't notice the line I draw with my right foot. He probably should have paid more attention, otherwise the first kick wouldn't have disarmed him and broke his wrist and the break-neck speed barrage of kicks that followed wouldn't have pummeled him until the last kick sent him crashing against van with enough force to tip it over.

"Now can I go?" I ask.
