I think it's a half-bad-half-man creature grabbed its latest victim, Momona suddenly latches to me and screams. I hold her tight for reassurance. A puddle on the ground allowed me to use it to reflect an idea on who might be the person holding me from behind. I saw shining steel, at that moment I knew that this wasn't a normal confrontation.
"Naoto," the person behind me called out. His grip on my shoulder weakened. The grip was almost a caress, something so gentle that it wouldn't have been the hand of an assailant. However, I took that chance and grab his arm then tossed him by pulling him off balanced. Without looking at the person I grabbed the sword he was wielding and attempted to use it against him.
"Who are y-..." my lips froze as my thrust missed its target and buries the blade on the ground.

"H-Hello....?" She called into the infinite darkness. "Lang-kun...? Taki-san...? Tiffa-chan...?"
Silence answered her, if only at first.
*CRASH!*
Momona's ears perked at the sound, but she couldn't guess the source: It seemed to echo all around from a vast distance.
"H-Hello...?"
Then she heard it.
"WRRRRYYYY!!!!"
Her heart skipped a beat at that sound. She knew that sound all too well and she knew she was not in good company. Momona brought herself to her feet somehow and made a run for it. To where she was running she didn't care, as long as she could escape from it. But that creature seemed to know better. Momona stopped dead in her tracks as she felt a sudden gust of wind. She froze when a pair of crimson eyes shot at her from the dark.
"Onegai..." Tears welled at Momona's eyes at first. "I don't want to die..." Then fell freely. "Onegai, not like this..." She pleaded. "Not like this..."
A strange sucking noise answered her instead of words. Then the creature lunged at her.[/color]
Momona started awake with a gasp. Automatically her hand went to her heart and clutched her chest through the pajamas she wore. She found herself lying on a bed with Taki and Tiffania laying on a bed next to her. The two seemed to have yet to put some clothes, but Momona quickly willed away such thoughts as they made her blush.
Sapphire eyes went to the side, finding an empty space and a conveniently placed pillow in the place of a young man. She knew of the boy's problem with sleep and wondered of his whereabouts. She heard her answer from down the hall.
*CICK, CICK, CAWK, CAWK, CICK, CAWK*
Momona didn't want to risk having another nightmare, and to intrude on the other slipping women seemed rude. She followed the sound down the hall and into the living room. Just as she thought she found the boy; at that... What did he call it again, a Mook yun chin? His hands moved swiftly and deftly slipped through the dummy's arms, then punched and kicked it, shifting his stance from one side to another moving backward and forward.
Momona likened the display to a dance of sorts and without realizing it found herself staring at the boy, admiring him.
"Can't sleep?" I suddenly ask.
"Ah!" Yep, caught her off guard. "Mm... Ne, Lang-kun?"
"Yeah?"
"If... If something happens to me... You'll come rescue me, ne?"
I stop for a moment, walk over to Momona whose sitting with her knees against her chest and kneel down to her.
"Of course I will." I answer as I pet her head. "That's one reason I practice as much as I do."

"How long has it been? Six months?" Seta asked as he emptied the fuzzy cola he ordered. We were together in Junes and he ordered for the both of us.
"Mmm... yes about that long," I replied. I took my time in eating my parfait.
"Umm... Naoto..." sempai paused as he leaned closer. His eyes surveyed me from head to toe.
"W-what?" I blushed a bit. It felt weird that someone was scanning me with his eyes.
"Why are you wearing a lab coat? Are you trying to imitate your shadow from before?"
"Gwrfttt!" I gasped as I choked on the parfait i was eating. "N-no, that's just ridiculous sempai." I lied. I thought if I told him that I'm Kage Naoto it would cause a lot of needless trouble.
"... Kawaii," he said as he stared at me. I felt his eyes survey me once again.
"A-anyway," I fixed my hat which was already tilted. "Why have you come back sempai?"
"Well, it turned out my parents had more work to do so I was left alone again." He explained.
*Ringgggg* The phone Naoto let me borrow rang.
"W-wait for a second," I turned away and answered the call.
"Hello. Kage-kun," Naoto called.
"N-nao... I- I meant, h-hello," I panicked. If sempai who knows me as Naoto hears me talking to Naoto on the phone it would totally cause trouble.
"Hmm, what's wrong?" Naoto asked. She sounded worried yet somehow skeptical.

"No I'm fine," I lied. "Anyway sorry to cut our time short today sempai," I stood up. "I promised my gramps that e-eh" Before I could finish my sentence I felt sempai's arms around me.

Since I'm pressed for time, the fastest way to Onibichi would be the railroad. But I'm not taking the train. Instead I begin to channel my Qi and dash along the tracks using my Lightfoot technique. I once back in town I hop off the tracks, and hop across the rooftops. I reach Elfen's steam forge in a matter of a few minutes.
I'll hand it to these guys, they sure know how to cover their tracks. It's best if I make my entrance just as stealthy

I manage to slip through an open window on the eastern side of the building. I'd taken a moment to scope out the area first and planned to get in through the forge. I see the girls being held against the wall by the gunman and on the other side of a glass wall is Elfen and a dead body. Their attention seems fixed on Elfen, allowing me to creep in. The girls notice my presence, but keep quiet as I hold a finger to my lips.
Unfortunately, Himeko doesn't get the memo... And somehow her gag comes off.
"Lang-kun, over here!" She screams as loud as possible.

My belt cuts the air like a knife and smacks the soldiers with bone cracking force, sending three of them into the glass wall with a broken knee cap, fractured skull and cracked ribs respectively. The last one manages to get in close with a knife. But I grab the other end of the belt as well and use the strap to entangle his arm, pull him along and throw him into the wall and finish with a kick to the solarplexes.
Just as quickly as it came off, by belt slides back on.
