US comics or Japanese manga?

Hrm....I'm 90% Japanese Manga's and 10% American Comics.....Yeah.

Can't I just say both?

and why no love for any european comics? Asterix and Tintin anyone?

I'd have to say comics. Throughout middle school i was all over manga but recently I haven't been reading them as much. There was year when i didn't read any at all. Comics, for me, cost less in groups and their characters were a big part of my childhood. Sonic, Batman, Teen Titans, Spiderman, and Deadpool. I love them all...except for Cyclops he can eat it.

the U.S. comic genre has just never appealed to me in the same way that Japanese Manga has maybe its the philosophy, maybe its the unusual use of sexuality but its def manga over comics for me

I like both, but some of the best comics I've ever read were the comics published by DC when they had the Star Trek license.

I read some US comic books like from DC and sort, but that was when I was a kid.
Now they dont matter anymore, I´m totally into manga and doujinshi now, they´re soooo good. =)

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Claymore, Freezing and Kiss x Sis... I still check every day for a new ones.

I grew up on good old western comics reading the Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man and etc, for me Western comics are a cherished memory but manga has a real story and real character development.

only seinen manga, european graphic novels and italian "fumetti" like Tex, Nathan Never, Corto Maltese and Legs. i find the united states of america comics to be too juvenile in the characterization of the characters and in the plot. they tend for the most to be focused too much on action and on the contrast between good and evil although i like some of the more serious works like Batman and others i've read but that don't remember the title.

Just because you like hentai doesn't mean you prefer manga over comics. And there is some people here on this site who doesn't like anime or manga. They are just there because of the forum.

It's not a obvious question. I myself prefer live action over anime movies. Even if I love anime.

Japanese Manga! My favorites would have to be Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece.

Walking Dead is my favorite comic but Claymore is a top notch manga so I prefer it.

Using 'moron' level analysis and logic, hentai hugely popular with people who like things like anime & manga, as hentai is pornographic manga. So our assumptions that people like manga over comics were logical, while yours was just 'I want to look smart over some forums hehehehehehe'. As for the comment on thr forums, while Fakku's forums are decently popular, there's no way people were searching for a forum and out of all the others - Fakku's forums.
