Mama 5/10. THE DOG WAS CUTE.
Red Dawn(2012) meh/crap
Trance 7/10 Her vagina is 20/10
We are the millers.... nope
and Summer wars... 8/10 but the fan manga made my pee pee work for a moment.
It was quite interesting, almost reminded me of Repo Men. Ever so slightly.
It was good, not the greatest, but I quite enjoyed it, the ending was sad, but everything made so much sense!
Well, the effects are pretty good. The "docks" scene is quite meh for me because of my nature of work and I see that scene as bullshit.
Anyways, I liked the black Ironman that looks like a samurai armor.
The Starving games - 8/10
I expected that spoof movies are ridiculously bad, but this one made me laugh a bit.
I first thought that this movie was about those old-men-being-funny like what Morgan freeman did with his precious (or next) movie when he stole a painting.
But then,
Spoiler:
death talk came in. Shit becomes serious.
I didn't know if I watched the full length of it or not since it was aired on local TV with flip dubs.
This movie screamed cyberpunk at me, and I'm a big fan of the genre, so I thought it to be very good. I thought the acting was very solid, and characters/scenes/events that were supposed to make me uncomfortable definitely succeeded (see: Kreuger). There were a lot of subtle, sad little touches in the scenery and plot that made it even more worth watching (the fact that Max works in a plant that could manufacture the very security droids that broke his arm in the early scenes of the movie, the defibrillator Frey has at her ailing daughter's bedside, the similarity of Matilda's story to the one Max and Frey read together as children). Also contained an interesting subtext about current society and where it could be headed.
Some characters that were given semi-prominent roles seemed unnecessary, which is why I'm giving it a 4/5 instead of a 5. It was also a bit of an action/shoot-em-up overload. I would have liked to see more explained about the setting/world in general (I'm kind of a tech junkie - I love it when writers go the extra mile to explain how and why things work).
47 Ronin:
6/10 If you're not into japanese samurai shit. Will be a bit boring. Not much action.
8/10 if you do enjoy japanese samurai stuff. Becomes decent.
Sharknado
1/10
Thought it would be bad enough that I could laugh my way through it but it was worse than expected and I just died of boredom instead. 0/10 for effort.
Tangled: Really liked it. The animation was really fluid and Flynn Rider (male protagonist) along with the horse and chameleon were just hilarious. Maybe it has been too long since I've watched a Disney movie, but still a great watch. 9/10
Bright Star
8/10
I'd compare it to the romance of Sense and Sensibility with a touch and a squeeze of Becoming Jane. The emotional torment really came through with the acting.
