yea well today was different. 3-1 for HABS, series is now tied. First game we blew it because we took waaaaaaaay too many damn stupid penalties.

You guys won because I believed for you. Lol.

The Cannucks really beat up on the Blackhawks in game one. I'm hoping they can win the cup behind their captain, Luongo!

Watching the Sharks... It feels like Game 1 of the Colorado series...

The really reason they lost is cause they got to Pittsburgh at 3:00 in the morning...
Got to the hotel at 4...
and then had practice at 8:30-10...
Yeah, true story. They were dead tired.

I liked how they came out the 3rd period. Dominated. We take a 2-0 lead over the Red Wings.

Now, let's try not to repeat history where we were up 2-0 and lost 4-2 to these Red Wings some years ago.

The Cannucks lost late in that game... Only another couple minutes to overtime. That was a pretty bad loss... ;-; The series is tied now and the Cannucks go back home where Luongo plays really well. Hopefully they can hold service. >_<

Or, they could come back from a 3-0 deficit to beat the Sharks in the next 4 games, something that hasn't happened in..quite a while. That would piss you off, wouldn't it shia? :P

Good game to watch. Not just cause we won, but it was a total slugging match between the two until Malkin ripped one in there. The second goal isn't anything to talk about, only cause Halak (I spell that right?) Was pulled.

Speaking of that, Halak is a damn good goalie, and at only 24 I expect to see that guy around for a long while.

Fleury had some amazing saves too, especially in the third. Good game.

2-0 Pittsburgh, for anyone who likes to keep score on all the games.

I would cry... for a week...

even if the habs lose game 6 they'll still have impressed me. if they do win the series, i don't think they can win the next one. They wouldn't have much gas left in the tank by then, weather they'd be facing Boston or the flyers, considering they had to go through both series with 7 games.



guess we'll see soon enough if the hawks take on the sharks. I'm stunned at how they have dominated the canucks.



oh and Shia, what you wrote in the chat thread is true; we're Canadians, we love hockey. For so many years, our hometown team was awesome, dominating the league, so many great players, so many stanley cups.....since the 90's, we've been on a never-ending downfall. But like any other sports fan of their team, if there is hope, even the slightest one, isn't it our duty to cheer our team on?
