Lol. I find it hard to root against the Habs. Especially when they're playing the Pens. I do hope they make it to the Finals. Then I hope the Sharks beat on them. XD

Do you guys remember...about 10 years back? How bad were the penguins back then? how bad were the blackhawks back then? Couple of years of learning, a few lucky 1st round drafts, and now look at em. And yet the habs were, and still are, a team that manages to make the playoffs as the 8th seed.


As a clinging fan of the habs, I believe we will eventually get back to being a great team, if not, a force in the NHL.

I don't think the Sharks have drafted any super stars... Lol. They're good players, but no real superstar.

Doug Wilson is an awesome GM though. Those trades he makes almost always make the team better. Thornton, Campbell, Boyle, Heatley. Awesome.

But I wasn't paying any attention to hockey then. I wasn't too old.

I understand the point though. Not only ten years ago, but for most of the Pens history we were terrible.

But hey, in the as now called Crosby Era, we've picked it back. Even if we don't make it to the Finals this year, it's nice to be able to make it to the playoffs. Much better watching then the regular season I think.
