Seeing as 24 of the 30 teams are based in the US... And only 2 teams from Canada made it to the playoffs... The odds are not in their favor.

It's not so much Montreal has amazing offense. (Despite Camillarie. Did spell that right?)

Their defense isn't amazing either. We had a thousand 1v1 chances, one-time shots etc.

It's that goalie. He wasn't having none of that shit. If there had been a goalie even .010 worse in there. We'd have won that.

Halak is a beast. (Even if I hate him cause of it.)

Fixed. Hey don't forget Gionta. And on D? Dude, we have Markov. Even though he's injured atm, I'm glad he's stuck with the HABS for all those years and I hope they keep him if they know what's good for them.

They can get to the Stanley Cup finals, but the West is going to win it. San Jose and Chicago are the top two teams in the West, and we all know how strong the west is.

San Jose is going to win it all. We finally have strong goaltending with Nabby. Our special teams are doing good and we're getting scoring from everywhere. SUCCESS!?

Although, Chicago being the weird streaky and inconsistant team they are... =/ They're still good, but their goalie isn't going to steal any games I think.

The one I will look for next year is Halak. I still can't get over that.

Even with the Two-Headed Monster out, he just stopped (almost) everything with seemingly little effort.

I don't know if it was like a performance of his lifetime kind of thing for this years playoffs, or what.

But I'll be paying attention to him next season.

I'm going to lol so much if the Hawks eliminate the sharks. And for the hell of it, I hope the HABS get to the finals. Maybe this is the year where we finally break our goddamn curse after nearly 2 decades and get a stanley cup.

History was made tonight: The flyers beat the bruins in game 7.


I lol at the irony, Boston lead the series 3-0, flyers came back and forced game 7. Boston were leading game 7 with 3 goals, then the flyers came back to win 4-3.

You know what would be even more awesome? If the Celtics led the Magic 3-0 and the Magic came back and won that series. Then Boston fans would rage hardcore. Love it when Boston rages.

KoI will root for Philly? Seeing as both teams are in Pennsylvania. Lol.

Actually, I was going to not watch hockey until next season. (Aside from the finals, as they are always good games.)

I'm not originally from Pennslyvania, so I could not care less about teams here aside from Pittsburgh. (Which coincedently, is like half the teams in the state.)

Well over the years I've gotten used to seeing my team being outted of the playoffs early so I kind of got used to watching the other teams. Even if your team isn't in the playoffs anymore it's still some of the best hockey you'll see all year.

Yeah, but the thrill of winning (or losing) just isn't as important to me, if it's not my team. I'm the same with football and baseball.

Speaking of that, the Pirates have won five in a row, and are one game from sweeping the Cubs for the second time in a row.

Despite the fact the Cubs have a budget four times the Pirates.

.500 Season here we come.
