We stomped out the Islanders 7-3.
Played pretty sloppy. A team that far down in the rankings (Not even in the playoffs as I'm aware) Shouldn't have gotten more than one if any goals.

I know it might not happen but...what IF the finally this year would be the CAPS against the sharks?
Would that be interesting? Sounds like a goal affair to me

Goddamn Halak for allowing sloppy goals and letting the Leafs win. Goddamn him. I blame the loss on him.
If it wasn't for that the HABS might have finished 6th to face off against the Sabres...now they're probably gonna face the CAPS.

Can't believe we got shut out. Against the Thrashers. Shame on us.
So, we got #4 seed, against Ottawa.

Still waiting for the Blackhawks. If they lose, we get the 1 seed against Colorado. If they win we get the 2 seed against LA.
I would prefer to play LA because the travel in the first round is kept to a minimum and they're in the same timezone. Extra rest. Lol, but the home ice throughout the playoffs is nice.

I just do not want to face New Jersey. At all.
We're 0-6 against them for the year.
Fuck that, let someone else take them out.

Sharks locked the 1 seed with Chicago's loss earlier today and play Colorado. Better than playing Nashville! Haha!

No, no it isn't :P
my bet is, they'll get to the finales, AT BEST. Something's gonna fuck up like it always does for them.
Whatever the case is, I look at who's facing who and I see an interesting playoff tree.
the matches I'll be looking forward to:
Ottawa vs Pittsburgh
HABS vs CAPS
Phoenix vs Detroit

I look forward to the 2nd round when it's San Jose vs Detroi/Phoenix.
San Jose is gonna win. I guarantee it. If we lose... I will cry. T^T

We're 2-2 for the year against Ottawa. But everytime we won, we stomped them out, by at least 4 goals.
I'm hoping for a bunch of those kind of games. We don't make it past the first round, I'll lose all hope for any sports team in Pittsburgh, cause everyone knows the Pirates are junk, and the Steelers are on another of their great downturns.

k, just watched the first game of Sens vs Pens. my impressions:
- Fleury allowed way too many sloppy goals. I'd say 3 of those shouldn't have gone in. That weird bounce one in the second period where the puck went off the boards and came back to Kelly's stick, that I blame on his defencemen sleeping on the job.
But overall I think this was a very interesting first game. Even though Fleury allowed shit goals the Pens never gave up and always came back to erase the 2 goal lead of the Sens. Both powerplays were efficient and succesful in this game.
In the Pens side, Fleury needs to wake the fuck up.
In the Sens side, they need to stop taking dumb penalties.

Bah, sloppy ass start.
Lazy said it all, Fleury was just asleep at the wheel, especially that fucked (second?) goal where he was no where to be found. Lost sight of the puck.
I'm gonna go ahead now and predict a far different outcome on Friday. Even with the stupid goals, it was still close.

Sharks... I am sadface. It's only game one... But... When we get off to such a slow start...
Just watching that game made me cringe... No puck control, nobody was moving. I didn't see many bodies in front of Anderson that night. I was thinking we were going to lose the whole game after the first 5 minutes in the 1st Period.

Hopefully, the damn coach (can't remember his name offhand) Will recognize that sticking Crosby, Malkin and Gonchar on the same shift, is deadly as a motherfucker. Crosby and Malkin by themselves are good at what they do. But when you toss Gonchar in there, man. It changes things.
