Okay, time to post outside IB again. 2,222 was fun.On topic, I've been listening to:
Random Access Memories by Daft Punk
Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action by Franz Ferdinand
Erotic Cakes by Guthrie Govan.
I really could use some suggestion though. Something like Franz Ferdinand, or maybe Two Door Cinema Club.
Listen to Queens Of The Stone Age. It's good rock. Which means it's rock and it's good.
Is my Engrish that bad?
No, why? You asked for suggestions. I noticed Two Door Cinema Club. They are a rock badn, I think. So I replied with what i'm listening to now.

Listened to QOTSA, they're alright but I don't have this feeling of wanting to listen to them again and again.

both "Hail To The King" by Avenged Sevenfold and "The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell" by Five Finger Death Punch have been my albums of choice! Though with the release of The Wrong Side of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell Vol. 2 right around the corner, Who Knows!
also Yoshu Fukushu by (The Returning) Maximum The Hormone is pretty damn awesome as well!

Local songs aside, I didn't listen much to this year's pop or any mainstream music.
If I did, I didn't like it.

It has been a specially disastrous year for mainstream pop, I'm glad Gaga is back though. On the other hand I've just kept to OSTs , too lazy to download new material from Kyary, MTH or other visual kei bands

Dream Theater and Krewella both released their albums a couple of days ago, haven't gotten a chance to purchase either of them yet, but the songs I've listened to from them have been to my liking.

The Grey Knight :y
This has been one of the most amazing years I've seen for rock and metal. We've had:
Fortress (Alter Bridge)
Subsume (Cloudkicker)
Altered State (TesseracT)
Panacea (AURAS)
Pelagial (The Ocean)
The Mountain (Haken)
The Catalyst Fire (Dead Letter Circus)
Alice in Chains (The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here)
AM (Arctic Monkeys)
House of Gold and Bones Vol. 2 (Stone Sour)
26 (Sithu Aye)
Other Things (Plini)
The Didact (Means End)
Living Mirrors (Disperse)
And there's still 3 months left. I'm gonna have a hard time making a Best of 2013 list...

Gary Numan's new album dropped this week, and I must say it's my favorite album this year. Great industrial rock from a master.

15 of the 20 new buckethead albums released this year. Im sorta in a closest of weeb and buckethead related music ignorant to most other releases.
Yeah, I agree 20 is a bit much for one year, but they havent suffered in terms of quality because of it. Many of them are sort of forgetful though almost intentionally because, as part of his Pikes series, 11 of the albums are just a number and all of the tracks on said almubs are similarly numbers lacking titles.. But each of the albums sorta goes a different route stylistically, one even mixed dubstep with his usual experimental metal and avantgarde antics.
Still dont like dubstep but yeah it was alright mixed in.
