Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.
At the top of the list of albums I was looking forward to this year, would have to be Veto by Heaven Shall Burn.
They took another step away from the deathcore feel that their previous album Invictus had. (Aside from song #6 You Will be Godless anyway, that's deathcore through and through.) I thought it was well put together, and just better in every way than their previous album. Although, I'm a big fan of deathcore, so I'd be fine if they still dabbled in that from time to time.
Next is an album called State: In Denial by dEMOTIONAL. Now, I had never heard of these guys until a few months ago; they're melodic death metal, nothing revolutionary genre wise, but this entire album is catchy, and is really well made. I like it enough to pay attention to them in the future anyway.
I'm sure there are other albums, but I'll be damned if I can remember them at 5 in the morning.

Middle fingers up, like we don't give a fuck.
I thought BMTH made a pretty good album this year, but I think "Sleepwalking" and "Go to Hell For Heaven's Sake" are my favorites from it.

I liked this album as well. I got really hooked on "Five Minutes" and "Alive."

Cage The Elephant - Melophobia
Really like this album. It got some nice rock tracks.
Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP 2
Overall the album is decent. This is one of the better songs. Worth checking out if you like Eminem.

Death Grips new LP was decent. NLDW-tier if you ask me. Should have worked on the lyrics a bit more and more vocals. I love MC Ride. He gives the aggression and intensity that few rapers do. An anon said Death Grips is modern music and I agree. Death Grips are mixing with a new sound that is promising and very good, at least to me. I can understand if people don't appreciate the trio because it is very odd sounding music. If you haven't listened to Governments Plates yet, do so. It has a few catchy songs.

Recently listened to Fox Stevenson's EP Endless, great EP in my opinion, worthy a solid 8/10 to me maybe even a 9. Didn't enjoy "Give Them Hell" as much as I would like but the rest of it was just excellent.

I'm in such a strange mix of music right now.
I personally listen to a bit more of Ska/Punk stuff lately, as I've been around it more.
Been super addicted to Streetlight Manifesto <3.
A lot of Cancer Bats, Rise Against, Protest the Hero, Alexisonfire/City&Color.

Just gonna update this with Moby's album Innocents, which was released in October. I think it returns to the style of Play with this album and definitely has some great songs.
