My latest love would be Konata Izumi, she sure has many lovers.
My true love would be Lain Iwakura, but as it is a long term relationship, it really isn't that passionate at times.
I do however find it hard to really love those characters that actually are from romantic series, they always tend to be so unserious and emotional.
It would be more accurate to say there have been some characters I could fall for if they were real people and therefore rounded out more. Course, they'd want nothing to do with me, so that'd be pretty useless.
It certainly does exist, the genshiken argument applies very well.
My first love was Ayanami Rei, and it hasn't cooled much at all. Saber and Rin are also two characters I've been in love with for a long time, while Konata would be the most recent addition to the group.
Can you really call it love? You never actually have any type of interaction with said "female". Isn't it more of a obsession/stalker feeling.
Yeah, it's more like just a crush, like the people who have the crush on the really hot girl/guy, but they know better than to make a move so nothing ever happens. Love is thrown around far too easily now a days, and sorry to say, but crushing on someone from a distance that you've never even talked to can't really be considered "love" by the definition that I prefer.
i think it's ok as long as we still realize that we are a 3d being, and the 2d being is 2d.it become scary if you put 2d and 3d in the same mindset, like the picture on top.

Yes, they were called chiropteran, a more scientific name for vampires, because of their strong resemblance to bats. The series is based of Blood: the Last Vampire Wikipedia on Blood+
