American Comics Vs. Japanesse Manga

That's like asking if blondes or brunettes give better blowjobs.

I'm sure I'm not the first one to think, or say that there's really no competition between the two.

Comics are good... Manga is just better... WAY better

I can see how american comics can be good but compared to manga I see no competition at all. American comics come in complete issues and can if you ask me never go as deep as manga in the storytelling, and another thing is that it seems they never end. They just come with new stories that in the end are the same, making it for me at least never being intresting enough(of course there is much shonen just like that). An american comic I buy for when I need to travel a short distance or is bored, Manga. I follow.

American Comics is good but Japanese Manga is better in every aspect. nuff said

Buuut i would still choose japanesse over american if i had to.

I like both, I guess it depends on the mood I'm in...

For me, comics are more for getting some time away, while mangas are more long term and I usally want to read them in one big-block, more like an book, because of the story and stuf.

Depends on the story

I go with manga. though i have read a few american comics. But i felt that the american comics are much more "childish" in a sense that most of these american characters appear on tv. there is not much mature content.

I go with manga. coz the stories are much better. not just you're average comics.
but the story is way better than the americans.

Oh wow this damn things still going? Well whatever. I feeel i did pretty well on my essay. The only problem was I had to write it in class instead of type it at home and my writting looks like chicken scratch. and that damn intern still has failed to show us what we made. but when she does you guys will be the 1st to know!

most of the time i prefer manga, but there are some pretty good American comics too The Killing Joke and Joker being some of my favorites.

Some people have to acknowledge the fact that there have been a lot changes in American comic-books, the shorelines and style of work have evolved significantly- no more solely good and bad guys. I think the only thing that really sets them apart anymore is the origin, the coloring and the style. Can't really say either is absolutely superior to the other
