Can't wait for April 14th for episode 2...unless another leak.So the main antagonist seem to have Ty Lee's mastery of chi blocking to combat benders.
So what bugs me is that is there really an actual segregation of benders and nonbenders by class status or is this revolutionary group just trying to stir up what might just be minor intolerance in the city into a bigger outcry between the two for a greater plan they have in store.
Episode 2 is out, pro bending episode.

I found Korra not being able to airbend weird since she seems quite free natured but I guess not being spiritually strong affects this, also she seems impatient same to Aang when he was learning with Jon Jon the Deserter. I also thought that the air exercise would be easy for her since she's a waterbender, the exercise was similar to how a river and following a current and that's the point, following the current.

I was obsessed with the TV show at some point. I just loved everything about it, and I remember rooting for the fire kingdom :P However, I went to see the movie [with live actors] and honestly, it was not pleasing. It kind of ruined my childhood memories (that movie)

I thought the premiere was alright. I thought I was gonna hate this Korra chick, but lo and behold, she's awesome.

I think the real question is how long it'll take for hundreds of western comics to start to contain Korra...
But seriously, Korra is probably the only time I will ever watch anything on Nickolodeon just because of its sheer popularity and hype.

I think she's good looking for a Tomboyish masculine chick...which means when she does more feminine things later on in the series (cuz you know it's going to happen for typical stories like these) it's going to be all the more cute to watch.

Watched episode 3 and the non benders fighting style remnids me of the gymnastics girl(I can't remember her name) from the first Avatar. Also for some reason Amon reminds me of Jet.

My guess is that Amon is somehow related to Aang and is secretly a bender. Spoiler:
Relative of Cabbage guy.

My guess is what he says might be true. I feel there's a possibility that Korra finally goes to the spirit world to ask and it turns out the spirits really are supporting Amon.
Then again, he could just be an evil powerful bender (one that killed Mako's parents, also possibility Mako's brother isn't his really his brother...maybe) and got lucky with learning the ability somehow.
I like the idea of the spirits supporting him, would make for an interesting conflict.

It's possible since benders are above non benders in the new world. Some of the spirits could want Amon to humble the benders and appreciate their abilities instead of misusing them.

I loved how they turned the last series's Deus Ex Machina into the main power of the antagonist in this series. Those non-benders fight incredibly well. They could be inspired by Ty Lee's style or the Kyoshi Warriors. And it was never revealed where Ty Lee learned it (The Fire Nation Royal Academy???) so maybe they are related.
The series is awesome so far!
