And to end it, why no avatar state? ???? >.< in do time, i must be patient
For the love of...I'm getting tired of people going on about "When is she gonna go Avatar State?" Korra has all the spiritual focus of a shoelace. It's not happening anytime soon.
I know but cant we just get a little sneak peak? All im asking for is just the badass look of dont mess with me :D
Seriously though, i hope the next few episode will incorporate her learning spiritual stuff and taking steps towards to atleast being able to communicate with aang, in little steps though
Just a matter of time.
Though for some reason at the begining of the show i had an idea that korra wasnt the avatar and was just gifted with being able to bend all the elements but that idea was completely shut off when she started to have the visions of aang and friends
EDIT: You said the same thing last time, shows how much i listen >.> haha

Honestly the love triangle thing is okay so far. Not really getting in the way of the series atm.
Why do you guys assume it's all fire benders? The only thing we got out of firebenders being a villain is just that one murderer who is obviously going to be an important piece of info. that's going to come up. Something like Azula's son being raised by Zuko or something of the sort and then he becomes evil or something reason for that Agni Kai and then stands trial for murder of Zuko or bystanders. He's probably also the one that goes on a killing spree or possibly the killing spree is why he was standing trial. And then we are revealed he is really Amon but still confused how he learns to debend but whatever it will come up.
I think it's going alright so far, they are setting up the playing field to show how powerful Amon really is and what he is capable. He has a powerful industrialized business backing his people so def. able to make a good army to stand up against all benders. The last episode showed that they are skilled and well equipped to take on even the protectors of the city. This episode truly demonstrated how far reaching their power goes and that they are a real threat. This just makes it all the more interesting to see Korra and the gang train to counter such a powerful foe. We can't start seeing Korra and the gang kicking ass already as if they were weak army that can be easily dealt with. This is a brand new threat and probably needs a new way of dealing with it.

Something like the city gets over ran and the group would need to go set out and find allies to take back the city. Just my thoughtYes I am waiting for this to happen.
Found this prediction on a forum somewhere:
"Tarlokk bloodbends Amon to attack the council even even when they got him to surrender and compromise. Tarlokk "defeats" him. He is a hero who defeated the vile Amon. Rise to power with Taskforce keeping "peace". RC in Martial Law. Tenzin disagrees and is put in house arrest.
13 year old Jinora joins the resistance with Korra, Mako and Bolin. Along with reformed Equalists and ex Metal bending police and Tahno they fight corrupt system of Republic City"
How much of this do you guys think is actually likely to happen in the series?

Eh Nope.avi. I still believe the Amon connection to the firebender murder theory more than that. Yours sounds more like an anime like Code Geass, Gundam SEED or some other series like that.

Jus popped in my head: what do you guys think about Bolin being the comic relief/ jokester like sokka was? Think he is doing a fine job or not?
I like him but as this will be said many of times, you cant replace the original.

Sokka's comic relief status was more of a personality trait, he was a much deeper character. Bolin kind of feels like a walking archetype, not a person, just "the tolken-funny guy". There's been some attempts to dive a little deeper into his character though. Hopefully they do more of that later on.
They made the choice to have him be latched on to his brother though. Sibling characters will inevitably be compared to one another. If one of them emerges as the stronger main character other will become more of a supporting character. There needs to be a balance between the two of them or Bolin is just going to become Mako's shadow. He doesn't necessarily have to become physically stronger, he just needs to push the plot on his own.
However, both Bolin and Mako are both kind of supporting characters at this point. Legend of Korra is more centered around a single character this time around (as the title suggests). I don't expect they'll push Bolin and Mako forward to much, this story is primarily about Korra.

No new episode! That's disgraceful.
Well, I guess this left some time to reflect on the few episodes and figure out some of this questions like, "Who is the REAL villian of the situation in this seies and where did Amon learn to bend people's chi?"

Prob. Amon disguising himself for who he really is, the firebender murderer who might end up being Azula's son.
Or he fight legitimately be saving the world by balancing it out but unlikely, he really does have a much higher motive.

like the title says, is the legend of korra any good? i'm asking cause I want to watch it but i want to know if its worth my time. more often then not sequels are crap. and plus it has none of the characters from the original series, so they have HUGE shoes to fill.
