Episode 9Spoiler:
Spoiler:
Tenzin does have a brother, Bumi, named after Aang's friend (the old Earth bender). Whether he is a bender, nothing has been mentioned about that.
I don't believe that he is related by blood because I doubt Aang would ever do that. However, I am assuming that he is related to the Avatar through the spirit world.

Actually the wikia for Avatar said otherwise. Tenzin's brother Bumi, according to that wikia, doesn't have any bending powers whatsoever.

It's one more episode next week then a 1 hour special the following week for the season finale. Season finale, not series finale, so calm down people there's plenty more Avatar to come.I was almost scared for a second.
I hope the series is ATLA length, and they gtfo republic city. I wanna see what the rest of the world has ended up like.
My prediction is that the Equalists will end up rising to power in Republic city and the surrounding area, and Korra will go around the world gathering Bender Army support with her title as Avatar.

A 10 episode series, REALLY!?! Man, I somehow blame muthafuckin spongebob series for this. I'll probably change my opinion about this.Wait, only 10 episodes?!
It might just be a season clincher, and not the end of the series as a whole.
If we're lucky,that is.
Or maybe Nickelodeon is being a cheap bitch and not giving them the funding they deserve.
Sorry for mislead you with my logic. Like everyone else has said, It's 12 episode for this season. The Final episode aires June 23. This saturday is the first part of the final of this season. It's following the tradition, thumb up for that.
It's sad, after it aired the finale, people are to compare the two, and overall, you'll get, "Avatar the last airbender was better" and this n/ that. Good Grief.

Well, I can't really say I like this sequel as much as I did ATLA. I guess its a good thing I didn't expect too much from it.

Spoiler:
Why this newborn in the avatar series always got to have a over the top birthday. There are three flying bysons, but one appa to begin with at first; so, where did they come from? Cause I thought Appa was a dude. Indeed, Lin and Tenzin's children were the stars of this episode.

IIRC based on the comics, Aang discovered an island of flying bison postseries.

I like how the Navy General has Zuko's voice, it's like they ran out of VA and the other guy couldn't even attempt to make himself sound different. I also like how this episode was like a bad 90's kids movie like Spy Kids, Home Alone 3, or something else of that nature.

Everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked...
As much as I like Zuko's voice, I don't think it goes well with Iroh's character design. Myabe I'll get used to it. Also, I gotta feel sorry for the grunts of the equalists. To be outmatched by a fartbender.

Thanks for the comic links, pretty okay. I like the promise, it's obvious setup for Republic City and maybe having everyone follow Iroh's lecture with Zuko when he was learning how to redirect lightning; the whole Avatar balance and making the colony into a Nexus of culture and market etc. I don't like the other side stuff though as it's annoying as I'm much more interested with Zuko's more serious aspect. It's nice to see a bit mature Toph and the concept of finding metalbenders is good but the actual students and everything was just really cheesy. I also really like how they are bringing up the challenges of intersectionality with that assassin earthbender girl, wish they touched on this even more.
