Everyone knows the scene with Bolin holding the flowers after seeing the kiss. Here are some lulz variations

Go team Avatar.
So yeah recently rewatched all of the original Last Airbender series again, and yeah it also has flaws of its own as well. Don't criticize this new one so much and enjoy it, so far imo it's pretty good.

wish korra were more powerfull though like Aang he can freeze a goddamn volcano, split the earth, making a tornado, become a deity and much moreOh yeah, i totally agree but maybe since it's too early to judge, we will get to see her do some amazing tricks too.
That's what I was going to say, I think she'll deff get stronger. Did aang start out all OverPowered?

You know now that I think about it I'm actually quite bugged that Blood benders and Metal benders are appearing more than the original. You'd expect only the most experience and best water or earth benders can be able to do this yet I don't see these people being that good of earth or water benders first to be able to advance to such level of bending.
As Tenzin explained, Korra has no spiritual connection so she lacks the access to the previous Avatars and their already learned skills so she prob. on the level of normal benders in water, earth, and fire. Pretty much let's look at it this way, Master Level water would be Pakku, Master Earth would be Boomie and Toph, Master Fire would be Azula, Iroh.(I honestly never felt the Fire Lord to be that strong but I guess he belongs there as well.)
Her level of Earth is more like the generals of Ba Sing Se or the Dai Li, waters prob. like Katara just less creative but then again Katara's weak point was that she lacked physical abilities in CQC, and fire is prob. like Zhao or possibly Zuko. But there's also another factor that's not thought about, referring back to Katara physique is also a pretty big factor. Korra lacks the physique of Aang or Toph to be able to dodge or move smoothly, but she does have the strength in CQC like again Katara lacked greatly in which matches why Korra seems to use Fire and Earth bending a lot as it reflects herself.
Yeah the government guy doing segregation stuff, now this is really feeling like Gundam SEED or something. Now we know he's the one that was standing on trial, now more curious as to who he is and if Amon is connected in the past at all. Really would be nice to see Korra travel outside the city to see what's changed and get stronger out there before returning and saving the city, possibly might be what they're going for.

Also it seems to me like some of you think Aang was an amazing Avatar but he wasn't really that great tbh. Since I recently rewatched the series I noticed a few things. We know Aang is a monk so he was able to get the spiritual connection easy and get easy access to power boosts in his bending due to the link to past lives, but actually looking at Aang with his boosts he wasn't really a great fighter. He always used his Airbender tactic of avoiding, dodge, and run away, and even after learning earthbending he would only go fully aggressive at the last minute and still not do too great. Actually he was a pretty terrible earthbender when you compare him to the others that have appeared in the series. Whenever he used it in combat he would kind of get beat back. Also quoting Suki, "It seems everytime there's a big battle you guys barely make it out alive. I mean you guys lose a lot." Aang actually seems to lose quite a bit against the powerful foes and relies on avatar state too much or some lucky break.

I was with it, until the "Red Monsoons" part. It just delved into a bad fanfic after that.

a guy put together all of the flashback dreams Kora was having and created a theory on one of the enemies of the series.

But as for the blood bending i really don't remember much about it other than that one old lady that katara "learned" it from might have some sort of connection to how Tarlac's dad knew about it.

Sounds legit, never really analyzed the flashbacks too much, just made random assumptions on what I did see. Never noticed that old looking guy in the flashback so seems right he's Tarlok's father.

My friend says: "Korra is just like X-men."

That's no reason to dislike a character.

No, I meant I disliked my friend afterwards. I wholly disagree with her stance that the series is just a rip-off of X-Men.
