Burried or cremated?
You want to be...

Have you decided which way you want your rotting corpse to be dealt with, once you pass on to the "after life"? (if there is such a thing).

I've never really been comfortable looking at a corpse. So, for my own funeral, I would rather be cremated. And have my family/friends be reminded of me through pictures of me when I was alive, laughing, the way I always am.
I'd like to have them remember me through pictures showing my lively spirit.

I suppose I'd go with Cremation. None of that hooroo with finding a Burial Plot and paying for a casket and all that other stuff... Unless Cremation somehow costs more than Burial and all of its odds and ends put together.
Whatever they do with my ashes is really up to whoever has it, they're ashes... But I sure hope that they incorporate my ashes into some sort of explosion (Fireworks or otherwise).

I want to be cremated and my ashes scattered somewhere in the mountains, or bury my ashes and put a sapling over it. I don't understand why people spend so much on funerals. Why spend thousands of dollars for a rotting slab of meat that you're gonna put in the ground and then only visit once or twice a year if that? That money can be put to better use, and so can the space that the burial plot would take up. I understand the emotional connection to the gravesite, but it just seems weird to me. Remember how the person lived, that's all that you should need.
On a more grandiose note though, I'd like to have my coffin shot into space while Rocket Man is playing loudly at my funeral, that would also be cool.

I would rather be cremated, that way if there was any accident where an earthquake hit, my expensive coffin wouldnt get damaged. or if a grave robber decided to plow my grave for stuff.
just be my ash in an urn. good times.
EDIT: Same question to you Lazy, buried or cremated? I didnt see your answer.

Natural burial or roast me in the woods.. it's in my will... maybe go out Viking style.

Fucking Viking style that is. But I wanna die in a battlefield and I'll probably go home in a box and in pieces.

Why waste a body with burial or cremation? Donate your body to science and get some use out of it.

If I can't be frozen then I'd guess I'd would want to die the Bram Stoker way....Once I am dead, fill my mouth with garlic, cut off my head, burn my body, and then spread the ashes at a crossroads.

After everything of value was removed, my body would be burned, with the ashes being spewed across four corners of the world.
Just for a good measure.

Curious and Wondering
I already told my mom that I'd like to be buried when I die. And if possible, plant a tree beside my grave.
But I stipulated that I'd want to be buried in my father's rural hometown cemetery - I visited it as recently as last year and it was a very well-kept public cemetery. No signs of commercialization whatsoever. If I am going to be buried somewhere, I'd like it to be as peaceful as this area.
