Burried or cremated?
You want to be...

I'd definitely choose cremation. On my soapbox level, I just want to be returned to the Earth. On a different level, there's just something creepy about people standing around staring at my lifeless body.

My family as a whole has always preferred cremation. No sense taking up unnecessary space...
Which, while I can't argue, a part of mean would rather be kept whole and put in the ground.
Preferably under a tree. That's all I ask, just throw me in a hole under a tree. I doubt my wish will happen, but that's what I want.

Cremated. I'm gonna be a pain in the ass and have my kids take me to every single place that was significant to me in my life and put some of my ashes there. If they don't, they'll be excluded from my will >=)

Cremated, I don't want to take the chance that someone digs up my body for some reason or another.

Cremation, why? well on the off chance that some form of zombification happens in the future i just don't want that like think about it once we eat all the humans that what? But yeh cremation all the way or (and i'm dead serious here despite how weird it sounds) i would so love to be launched into the sun.............. no chance of coming back as zombie dust :)

I would not mind being cremated, but I have a good feeling that I'm likely to be buried when I die (family religious reasons).

I've actually thought this one out quite a bit. I want to be cremated. But not in the traditional way. During my closed casket funeral (i preferably want to die by either a horrible accident involving microwaved chicken when I'm 113.314609 years old, or fall off a skyscraper, landing on a bus of schoolchildren), a timer will go off, firing a large spring inside the casket, which launches my corpse into the air into the assorted cheeses. Then, someone who i would pick at random would run up to me and incinerate me with a flamethrower, while whistling the Russian national anthem, with "the entertainer" playing on an LP in the background.
But seriously, i want to rot in the ground. and be dug up when my corpse is half decomposed and have some dude carry me to the nearest elementary school, put my corpse on the teacher's desk, and have him scream "THIS IS SPARTA!!!!", while pointing at my balls.
Yes, this is how i normally think. I'm not going out of my way to be funny, it just sorta comes out.

Hmmm. I'm not sure.
Perhaps buried in some sort of biodegradable coffin: I like the idea of returning to the earth in death.
But no mahogany coffin for me, thanks. :)

I personally like being launched into a space...
Else, I would like to be buried, to become part of the Earth. Also, I'd like my body to be intact once I come back to life, not spread in ashes.
This is irrelevant, but a phoenix is reborn from a pile of its own ash. Then what happens if that pile of ash is blown away?

I would like a cremation. My grandmother was cremated as well as my grandfather, so I find it fitting to get cremated too.
I'd also feel like some sort of Jedi getting cremated too. They always get cremated, and I'd at least feel BA in doing so. :D

Surprised I never got around to posting in this thread. Actually I thought I had, maybe there was a similar thread at one time. Oh well, not important.
Anyway, I know this isn't exactly an answer to the question, and is tangential, but I'm going to throw it out there. Personally, if one could get a way with it, I'd rather be tossed in a garbage bag and thrown in a dumpster. The thought of someone paying money to deal with a corpse just flabbergasts me. The religious and moral implications are a different topic altogether (one I certainly don't feel like debating right now) but actually paying to deal with the deceased? Ludicrous.
