Custom Rainmeter Skins

Yea well, since this is a simplified for of programing I feel that it's great to use to learn how different things hang together, even if you can use this language when programing for real =P Since I'm trying to learn C++ myself I'm having great help by Rainmeter when learning how variabels, functions and other shit works (I suck at C++ T__T).

Well sure, if you want to. If oyu want to do remakes so go ahead, but dude, that'll take a LOT of time =P Maybe it's just me being sick of moving the text around by mm though xD But if you want to you can make 'em, post them in this thread and I'll add them to the OP as well, below the versions I've already uploaded? Or if you want to make a tutorial, which probably will be easier on you xD And if I just get my creds for my skin designs, ofc you'll get the creds for what you do =)

Well, w/e, i'am lazy person as well ^^; but coding stuff just gets my interest, even if i would be a n4b at it. BTW That Tomoyo naked/pajama skin is very clever idea.

Lol kind of getting off-topic; i know mostly how the variable stuff and some function shits work, but im mostly still kind of gone what does that thing do and that.

Mostly math kind of stuff like how to set some variables easily while using arrays, blah dunno how to say;
Let's say most of my knowledge has come from WC3's World Editor, done lotsa things with the trigger editor (haven't learn the JASS language) and after time i could improve my triggers more and more like how to use arrays on variables and integers and stuff.

Therefor we have in 9th grade a small programming lesson where we used Visual Basic and so i have played around with this thing a bit (mostly only with my knowledge from WC3's trigger editor) =P

I've made a small AWC(AnimeWatcher) program for myself to keep track of in what episode im going on (it's very simple stuff lol):

Now, let first see if I got it straight; you want toggling for the pics in the box as well? It's the first time I do toggling with the box, but I'll try it. The toggeling will have to go with the skin button anyway, the bubble already have toggling effects.

The text is fine, doesn't look like it's too long =)

The toggle ofc goes Clothes/No Clothes.
And if you could add 5 hard drives (no need to; i can do it bymyself if you just leave some space there ^^) in order:

You not only read my mind (I was just about to ask for the names of the drives), you also do half the work for me xD To bad I've already done the coding, copy/paste would have been nice xD

EDIT: One design flaw here; the box pics, the one where they have clothes is of a larger resolution (slightly different as well) and is also darker than the other. Well, I made it anyway, you can see when you test it, there is a slight movement and change of lightness when you toggle between them. The chara pics is perfect though xD

Yes i know they had a different light in 'em; i'm not much of a photoshopper so i haven't even tried to get them into same color by darkening.

You might think why i have 5 hard drives;
one for windows (ofc) one for games and programs (and anime) and these two consist of my 500GB hard drive (might on next install install my OS to small hard drive, on older one if i don't decide to buy 60GB SDD HD).

Well then the other 3, one is mostly music (there is few anime series as well) and some text files. Another has hentai (and pair anime series) and last one is trash (consist mostly of some Con's pics and stuff).

And now i think, why the hell i explained that all (+ it increased my damn post count dammit!).

Also, I don't know if this is because I just have one driver on this comp, but all the meters are showing C:'s space =/ Even though I've already changed it as it should be. I'm gonna try it on the other comp as well and see if it works there =D

Ok, yea, I have a similar system on the other computer + a external driver for all my anime =D

Hmm, and I think it's better if you try it and see if the driver meters work on your comp instead, can't use the other one ftm. If it doesn't work we'll figure it out then =)

´with (the X means number) corresponding number ^^

But dun worry. Most errors and failures on coding and programming are mostly just simple and small ones like this => (had some HTML/CSS/PHP coding at school and peeps got lotsa these).

Maybe the edges of the meter menu could have been more black

Tried to do some fixing with those two pics, but couldn't do any major help; the colors are just somehow different dunno. But nice job still ^^

Now that i looked a bit more, i think all those bars (except UP/DOWN) serve almost no purpose since you can't see them almost at all. Cuz the pic below is so colorful. Pity i was thinking of trying to get that text off from the pic where they have the clothes one, but w/e. It works nicely.

Yea, was a though behind the order =P Hmm, ok, well, it's not impossible to redo the edges, they're just made with the Blending Option called Stroke. At worst, you might have to cut the image from the pic and make a new frame or something for them.

Yea, I know =P That's why I did as I did with the Shana skin, put them all over a single colored bg. Pics usually makes things to messy it seems like.

@Mycstea: The second pic, do you want that in the menu box or what? It'll be hard to use for the character pic if that's what you want... Though I just got an idea how it could work... Anyway, the first pics is no problem, but as I said, what do you want the second pic to be used for?

For Ethil:
I found (Major) problem in your skins Ethil.

While it may work for you (maybe cause of XP and Vista's difference) the buttons
which open winamp (WaOn and all the list buttons) don't work.

Here's an example (from the Louise skin; same was for your Shana skin; dunno about others):

You are simply missing the quote marks ("") from those variables.

Also to make it more efficient (well i dunno in this case, but is shorter to write 'n stuff; more efficient>less efficient), you could add into the WinampFolder variable the .exe file as well (i suppose you have most likely only copied the code after another).

On variables your's look like this:
WinampFolder="D:\Ohjelmisto\winamp\"
So we add the winamp.exe into the end:
WinampFolder="D:\Ohjelmisto\winamp\winamp.exe"

Now we can remove the winamp.exe from #WinampFolder#winamp.exe

So now the list button's code would look like this:

Hmm, it works fine for me, but that might be cause as you said, I'm on XP... But the quote marks shouldn't be needed there? They are just used to set the value of a variable, the #variable# is what then used by the function to call on it. =/ But if that is true for vista users then it's a major problem... Hmm...

Well, if you feel up to it I'll gladly leave it to you, since you can test it out later on and check if it works on Vista while I can't (since I only got XP). If you Upload them when you're done I'll put them on the OP as Vista versions and give you the creds.

And yea, I've also got some requests I need to work on. I'll try to make a Vista friendly copy of them as well then. It would be a great help if you would test them out for me, but only if you feel up to it =) Man, if I could I would have rep'd you for days for this.
