Custom Rainmeter Skins

Woot how you did that? (spoilers in spoilers =O Haven't worked for me before lol).

Well, could say that it seems to work the same way as html coding. It may look nice on Firefox, but when you open it with some other browser it might look totally different. But if you do everything exactly right (open and end the commands on correct places and stuff) they should look pretty much the same, maybe some small exceptions.

As what i tested, they only worked for me when i put the quotes on; not without. And you don't really need to do any Vista-friendly version. You just need to add quotes and it WILL work on both (and even if you did, you would only need to change the config file).
You can give it a try if you want ^^ (test one with quotes on them at the buttons executioncommand place).

EDIT: I dunno about rly does it matter in this kind of coding how it is done as long as it works.
Just from World Editor (WC3) there always you have to do triggers in the most efficient way in order to keep the map stable, without increasing the memory it needs to run.

Ok, if you say so. Then I'll just change the links to the ones you upload. And about the efficency rate; I haven't written any of the code myself, I just copy it and edit it when I need to make something new (like the skin button), so I haven't really checked through all of it, since it works fine for me =P But I'll remember to edit that in new skins then.

EDIT: Ok, thax, I'm moving them to the OP as I speak. Yea, less code means less use of memory, and less room for mistakes =)

It seems like Halloween is teh shit on Fakku right now, so I made a Halloween skin in a hurry. Not finished yet, dunno what colors I'm gonna use, but the basic structure is done.

If possible, just zoom in on the Rin in the box, and shift everything else on the right (means not blocking her) Cropping won't really change the composition of the box

Both halloween and Nagato skins seem really awesome =P

My mind is melted cuz of whole school project and stuff, can't think of well, but i think they look pretty nice.

Maybe if you could work bit nicer buttons, they are working and all, but they start to look a bit old, having only 2 colors D=
So maybe you could try to improve the buttons as well somehow, cooler.

Just came to my mind, one of the skins i have fading buttons for the list buttons (when you put mouse on List I icon, the rest Icon II, III and IV will show up), if that would widen your ideas.

Thx.. Yea, well, I could just change the colors of the buttons if that's what you mean, or redraw them somehow, but I dont know how they should look like if I did...

And I don't know how to do fading buttons xD If you got the code for em I could make it, but I don't feel like writing a new one from scratch.

They are fine, but they are bit like they don't fit with the skins, since they have been mostly white/black on your skins as well; i don't mean that you must change it, but maybe you could give it a try to photoshop those buttons aswell to some nicer ones? If you have such a skills D=

I'll probably listen to Arbitor and go back and use the old buttons for a while.

And I haven't uped the Halloween or the Nagato skin yet, will do in time.

I took Arbitors comments to heart and edited the buttons... Though I'm not sure I succeeded in doing them any better. Lol, they look even More retro now imo. Anyway, got pics here:



They have thir old look back more or less, but the animation when you click them is a bit different, just that. Colors is now changed depending on the skin as well, as I did before.

Anyway, my skills with PS is limited, so I don't really know what I should do to make them better... Ofc I could just make some totally new ones, but I like the layout on these, easy to work with and fits the skins.

I haven't started doing any other skins yet -_-' Might take while to do em as well, since I'm gonna work a lot starting monday, so I won't have much time to goof around with this... Anyway, will eventually get to it, might take a break from requests after these though, until my job is done for this season.
