Death by Fire or Water
Which would you rather die by?

I think I'd rather die by fire than drowning. Two reasons, one comical and one more serious.
1. During moments in between searing pain, I think I might enjoy the smell of my own flesh burning... Depending on if an accelerant was used or not and if so, what type. Though that would not be likely and the only smell I would be able to smell would be caused by the dementia coming from the mind splitting agony.
2. If I was still able to freely move, I'd try to grab the person who lit me up and attempt to kill them as well... Though that would be if I was not the one who set myself on fire.

[font=Verdana][color=green]Give me fire everyday of the week over water. Drowning is such a helpless death. With fire, rather ironically, you feel so alive before you die. It must be a great rush. Something like that.
There seems like there would be a greater deal of helplessness if you were drowning that I wouldn't assume would be as prevalent if you were burning. Certainly they would both be equally painful, so I assume go with the one that is less psychologically drastic, at least I would think.

I'd rather drown.
Fire would be too frantic, too painful, and last too long. At least with drowning you black out after a short period of time and don't have to keep living through the sizzling pain before death.

well i think drowning is lesser painful since it your body doesn't hurt mentally
in fire...depends on instant or not...if not you just suffer from heat and smoke...and fire if your unlucky

Some say the world will end in fire,Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice
Exact same thought.
I would say drowning. Either way would be terrible and painful, but thrashing around gasping for breath that won't come versus flailing as heat melts away your skin and bone AND suffocating on smoke....I'll go with the first x |

But, whenever I catch one of my people on The Sims on fire whenever they try to make pancakes for the first time, man that looks like a painful way to go.LOL.
As for me, I would definitely go with fire. I've always feared drowning - but I can swim.

Death by drowning sounds less painful, and the fact that your body stays relatively intact is pretty good. So yeah, I'd prefer to drown rather than burn.

i would have to say drowning yes it may be helpless but it is meant to be pretty peaceful and almost painless.

The masochist in me leans towards fire. I just don't like the idea of drowning, but I suppose with fire, you technically could die from smoke inhalation too... hm.
