Direct Siblings Relationship

I was watching Tyra once (I'm a girl, I'm allowed to) and there was this brother-sister couple on there. They didn't meet till they were in their twenties (one was adopted out), and apparently, that kind of situation, the siblings can form a romantic bond between one and other, because of something to do with genetics?

Anyway, I'm not sure. I have younger siblings, but, I mean, one is 4, and one is 15. And they are both annoying/not my type (obviously with the 4 year old). But I do however, have a thing for "older brother" type people, people I see like an older brother to me, who care for me, but still bully me, and I tend to call alot of my older male friends like that, Onii-chan. One in particular...who I have a huge thing for, and he loves when I call him Onii-chan :3 But I hope it doesn't effect how he sees me...

Social norm seems to exert quite the psychological pressure so that it can turn a mere thought into a feeling of disgust. I find that interesting and somewhat amusing. (<- do I sound... crazy?)

The norm of only one or two centuries ago was to marry within the close family to keep the blood pure, as has been stated before. Some villages with only a thousand or two thousand inhabitants - even nowadays - are as incestuous as rabbits (no offense).

When did that kind of "social norm" get started? I've only heard that the bible in fact has several pieces on incest - I don't know how it was meant in there though. I know that Christianity had the greatest pull on society back then, so whatever the Church had said, it quickly grew to a social norm.

Yeah, same here, I liked the ideas of taboo/forbidden but true love. As me though I have 5 siblings (all step-siblings) One bro and 4 sisters and I must say now I am really not attracted to any of them period. For one 2 of those siblings (one is 6 years younger the other is still a baby) the other 2 (both 5 to 7 years older than me) never really attracted me. Not to say that they are ugly but because of their behavior and actions I wouldn't do it... I completely agree with this, the only reason incest is so appealing to me is the whole "True love forever" thing it has. otherwise its just another couple doing it

It was a few years ago when I was a teenager and my sis was like... 10?

How old were you then? I mean, teenager begins with 10 and ends with 20, so you could have been 12 or 13. There's a difference between a 12 or 13 years old attempting that and a 17 or 18 years old.

And I admit I'm a lolicon myself, although I hate real life children, so it would never even cross my mind to go down that forbidden path.

I have an older brother, but... Euch. I don't think he is attractive, and on top of that his personality is shit too. I like incest fiction (siblings/cousins only), but I think it is the taboo of it that is so intriguing. Besides that, the "forbidden love" aspect that others mentioned. In real life, I'm not against incest between consenting peers, but I have to admit that it is creepy as hell if they grew up together.

So, you say your sister is only thirteen now? You have to be 18+ to be on these forums, so when she was ten you had to be AT LEAST fifteen. That is more then old enough to know better then that... Even more disgusting if you were any older. It said you made your account in 09, so if you were 18 then you should be 20 now... making you closer to seventeen when your sister was ten.

Basically I've brought across my point; it's up to other people to post.

I have never liked my brother, not even as his sister and possibly never will. And he is staying overseas, so I forget I have brother sometimes.

But sometimes I do wonder if I will have incestuous relationship if I had another brother of similar age (my real brother is 20 years older than me FML) and he is vaguely likeable, maybe. Because I think your first time (yes I am sad) must be done with someone special, a brother you are close to falls in that category I guess.
