Do people diss you for liking hentai?

Oh, my [size=2]dipshit-ex-[/h]friend's friend laughed at me when I attempted to lighten the mood with a light-hearted look at my 'quirks' so to speak, and stated with pride that I watch/read hentai, to the tune of 'how sad and weird'.

Meh, I've never given less of a fuck. She was younger than me and pretty white-washed. Girls her age in that town were all pretty.. uneducated, slutty, and strangely puritanical when it came to porn. So, knowing all of that I didn't feel offended at all, it was just some kid responding as is expected of them.

But really, I'm [size=8][finally][/h] 19 fucking years old, I can watch some cartoon porn if I damn well please, thankyouverymuch.

My friends who don't like anime say that's kids stuff but I just ignore that. There's no point in arguing with them about it 'cause they start using the fact I like anime as an argument.
But most of my friends like anime and manga and even hentai so... :D
Oh! And I don't use facebook, so I don't get that sad comments

My group of friends are constantly giving eachother shit about anything we can think of. It's all fun and games and everyone has thick skin so no one usually takes anything someone says to heart.
So of course i get shit for it.
But to us, porn is porn. One person's preference doesn't change our perspective on eachother.

Probably around ~10 of my friends know that I like hentai. About half of them are friends close enough that I keep no secrets and the other half are people who are already quite into anime stuff, so half the shock of hentai is removed.

Several of them disapprove of my hobby, some make fun of me for it, and all wish I wouldn't bring it up in their presence.

It's a lonely world for a pervert out there. Good thing there's Fakku.

Some of my friends know, and don't give a fuck, outwardly at least. My girlfriend knows I like hentai, she's read some of the doujinshi on my computer, too, so she knows what kind of hentai I like.

I keep it hidden, in an invisible folder.

I've told 2 of my closest friends that I like hentai. One is a guy who used to live in my area (Being at University means he had to move to Southampton. Still comes back from time to time though) and the other is a girl who is a female online friend who I've known for about 4 years. She pretty much wants to pin me down and rape me, although I've never met her face to face and I don't feel the same about her.

Anyway, I told them and neither of them were impressed. They don't seem to give a flying fuck though and continue to talk to me even though they know that I get off to cartoons.

As a general rule they dont, because if they do Ill make a scene(fuck other people),ex. My friends friend tried to joke me so I replied with"YEAH IM GUNNA MASTERBATE WHILE I READ IT AND IMA DRAW PICTURES, WHAT THE FUCK ARE U GUNNA DO ABOUT IT?" this was the last time he spoke up about it

Once my mom figured out I watch hentai she laughed at me for watching what she called "Animated porn" then pretty much told the entire family and facebook.

Most people think I do but don't actually know. I was asked yesterday and said that I did.

My friends don't, that is. But on the other hand, they're bizarre as hell.

But I do keep this hidden from my family. Would scare the hell out of my mother if she knew.

Some do, some don't.
The ones who do are often like

They started laughing. I didn't know what was going on so I laughed too.

I would love to see them try. And most people as far as i know do not care what i look at to get off. 2D just caters for what i cannot get in real life and/or in 3D porn.

I do not necessarily have to justify that, each to their own in my opinion~

most of my friends know I like anime and Hentai. Some like it too and some dont care. Others think it it just kinda weird, but they dont really give a crap.
Those who diss others just because they dont like it themselves are the, what can I say... The bad people? Judgmental people?

Meh, everyone that I knows looks up for hentai, and while everyone that knows me knows I'm one very creepy perv and can deal with it.

Well, not only hentai actually, but more like porn in overall. Hell, the govt here is having a huge campaign on erasing all porn in the country. Even some ISP can't be used to access most porn site. Fakku as well.

The ones who know i do either like it themselves or don't care. That said, i generally avoid bring it up out of nowhere

I don't keep it as a secret at all. On the other side, it is not a common topic of conversation, so most people 'around me' doesn't know.

I generally wouldn't bring it up. I know a friend of mine started disliking this guy because she found out that he watched an anime for the girl protagonist. If she found out that I looked at hentai she would extirpate me faster than how the dinosaurs died. If someone asked about it, eh, I probably wouldn't bring it up, it depends on the setting. My friends I could probably tell, maybe not my girl friends since a couple of them find it putrid and vile. Also because it would make for awkward conversation. But seriously, I don't see hentai as "herp derp pedophile weirdo!" I like to think of it as having a more accurate representation of the anime medium as a whole. I have been dissed for liking anime though, and to those type of people I say fuck 'em.
