Do people diss you for liking hentai?

in my opinion if you don't like it dont watch it or look at it dont fuck with other people cause they like it

I have been dissed more than once for liking hentai by my friends and a few random people who I happened to talk about it with. I usually got the following reactions:

1. Uh...you masturbate to cartoons?
2. Weirdo!
3. Wow I cant believe you masturbate to a drawing man....
4. You sicken me you mentally misplaced sodden little man. (That one kinda hurt)
5. Wow..is it really that erotic? I think its kinda wrong.
6. Man, whats wrong with you? Why cant you just nut off to some porn like every other normal person?
7. EEEEeew....
8. Im not sure you are alright in the head dude...
9. You are so pathetic you jack off to toons?
10. You are stupid for looking at hentai. Just go find some regular ol porn, guy.

The list goes on but Those are the comments that stuck to me. And I have to say that I feel all warm inside because I singlehandedly converted every single one of them (Except for three stuck up bastards) to the wonderful world of hentai and made all of them hyporites.

I encountered some of these reactions.
My reaction on them is always "Your opinion is about as valuable as anybody's opinion" (/sarcasm)

The few times I've heard something about how it is weird that I masturbate to cartoons I always point out that it is just as weird to be masturbating watching other people have sex, and they always shut up. XD

People who like porn, but diss hentai are basically those people that we (as otakus) have come to know as...well...Anime Haters.

They hate anything Anime, Manga. I've been dissed for simply liking Anime, let alone Hentai. These people basically are the ones who, when they see ANY anime, you'll hear "Poke EEEEEE Mon" or they called "Yugioh", "You Gay Hoe", there was no reason besides the fact that they are animes. Many Otakus hate 4kids for what they did, but in like, Schools, yeah...you kind of know that they're just morons. (Yes, I know all of this, I have a younger brother and sister, and my brother used to watch Yugioh. I can't stand hearing people call it that, I'm not a fan of Yugioh, but it's still an anime.)

They're only dissing Hentai because it's a form of Anime.

Hm... no one has ever dissed me for liking it, of course I don't go around telling people. I've drawn Ecchi a few times, and I showed some of my friends. Some of my other friends don't like Hentai or Ecchi, and they would probably diss me if I told them lol.

Not necessarily. One of my friends watches anime, but hates hentai. Granted he isn't a particularly big fan of anime and only watches stuff occasionally, but he does nevertheless. I tried to get him to watch hentai once, and he hated it. *shrugs*

y friend saw some of my Hentai images (damn you picasa showing every picure when i open you), he was like: EWW, THERE'S PORN ON YOUR PC. then he watched closely and suddeny said: Oh wait! It's hentai! then it's cool!

I was rather weirded out.

Talked to a few dude's at my former school about that, and one time when i was searching H-games on the net at school(free time no teacher present) some asked "what is this shit?" my answer "a game with u as main character and u get to screw the lady of your choice", and after that "NAKAMA GET!" :D

I hang out with people who watch anime and hentai, so it's no big deal.
