If done right, it's pretty nice. It's usually way too different from the animation, though, to the point of being jarring

The Ushio and Junk Robot scenes on Clannad and its sequel had some pretty good CG
Valvrave The Liberator was kind of decent, I was fond of it
So yeah, it has its moments.

Most CG I've seen looks alright. It depeds on how they use it though.

its almost always terrible, i can't seriously like the animes that use it 100% because they make character movements too rigid with a robotic feel to it. If its only partly CG as support then that's usually fine so long as im not always staring at an anime that's completely made out of CG.

Depends on the composition process. In Hellsing Ultimate it fit the art style but in zoids composition was only just taking off but still looked cool.

I reckon most animes use CG too often and/or have horrible quality. But there have been a few cases where CG was well done, but that's a minority in my opinion.

Does not almost all anime use some type of computer graphics nowadays? Just compare the old style to the new style of drawing the anime.

Arpeggio of Blue Steel had some amazing CGmeh I couldn't watch it because it was all cg
I love code geass but it bothers me that how the old series didn't use cg and the new one does(that sounded kinda confusing so in short I prefer if they didn't use cg).

I don't mind CG at all. Of course I prefer it if it's done properly and is hardly noticeable, but I'm not going to throw a tantrum if it's not as good as it could be.

In short, it's all about how noticeable it is. Does it break immersion by providing a stark contrast? If so, get that shit outta here.

I'ma be real honest I do like CGI but not alot of it enough to know that its good but not excessive

Can't stand early CG... and there are times when I find the use of it unnecessary... but it does have its moments

Good CG looks spectacular while half-assed CG looks arguably worse than half-assed line art. Zoids New Century Zero from 2001 is the oldest anime series I can remember at the top of my head with really good CG even by today's standards. IGPX is another one with lots of amazing CG. In fact, most of Production I.G.'s modern works feature some kind of CG and they all look amazing, like Blood-C or Break Blade (which by the way, will air on TV later this year with additional scenes not shown in the movies).
Witch Craft Works, which is a current season anime sets a really high bar for CG quality in televised anime. J.C. Staff has officially upped their CG game this year. The 3D aerial scenes are among the best I've seen outside of really high budget anime movies. Speaking of high budget, this is where CG can shine the most. Like the recent Rebuild of Evangelion series. All the eva models and structures are almost entirely CG and they look superb.
Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia) is an upcoming 2014 anime which will supposedly use liberal amounts of CG so I'm really hoping the visuals do the manga justice as it is among my top 10 favorite manga of all time.
