Ever had a prenancy scare?

...a dad. Holy shit, my girlfriend got her period 5 weeks late. I'm sorry, I had to vent out. This is has to be one of the greatest feelings of relief out there.
Has anyone else had the dreaded "Fuck, I'm gonna be a dad" scare?
If so, what's your story.

Hahaha nice, congratz bro.
Nah, haven't been laid yet, but now I definitely do NOT want children, don't know what I'd do if I knocked her up and she didn't want an abortion, guess I'd man up to it but still...

You're time will come man, but as much as I'm sure you don't need to be told, make sure you wrap that up. Thinking you're gonna have a kid, or being put in the situation where you ARE gonna have a kid, is one of the worst feelings ever. Feels like everything you've worked for is about to shatter and you'll hit an unbreakable wall in life.
My roommate just found out his girlfriend was 4 months pregnant. He wanted to get an abortion, but ultimately it's her choice and she decided not to. I've never seen a grown man cry so much in my life. Toughest conversation I've had in a long time.

Hell, not only will I wrap it but she better be on the pill, better safe than sorry! Maybe someday I'll want kids, but for now, I'm definitely not ready! Sucks for your friend though.

You anti-abortion folks should start getting real. Waar's side on this matter is a wise one to follow: If you're willing to have sex, then you're willing to risk and accept the consequences of a possible accident. If not, then stay out of it. This feeling of dread you speak of could be avoided altogether if only you abided by that.
Never had sex before myself, but this anti-abortion gibberish really doesn't click with me. So I don't think I'd dwell too hard on this situation, were it to happen.

^You're pro-abortion, right? But when you say " you wouldn't have to dwell too hard", you do realize it wouldn't be your decision only, what if she decided she would want to have the baby?
Also, even though it's pretty rational that if you don't have intercourse, you wont get ( anyone ) preagnant, you know that sometimes in a relationship, you reach a "level" in which you start to get intimate. Sexual attraction is pretty much unavoidable( and the best you can do is be mature about it, get protection and talk about things)
Still, I agree with the 1st part:
Sex isn't something to be taken light-headedly. You shouldn't start having sex unless you are mature enough to man up and deal with it if something were to happend.
Even though you're protected, sex isn't all just about having fun.
tsukiyomi, have you thought about what if she actually were preagnant?

That's funny, I remember when me and my boyfirend were having sex and i didn't get my period for a while and my stomache was hurting constantly a couple of times. He thought I got pregnant and so did I but it was nothing we were worrying about haha it's all just a funny memory now, I think when women start having sex who aren't that sexually active tend to have changes in the timing of their period so I think it's normal, use condoms too dude. Unless you have delayed ejaculation then you don't really need them.

Actually we discussed it. I, for one, know that we could not have a child and give it a life it deserves. I told my girlfriend my feelings in this matter, and made it clear that I would much rather put the child up for adoption as that's what happened to me and live a happy life, again like I did. However, if destiny so chose that it was not my time and to warn me if I tempted fate too much it would bite me in the ass, I welcome it and learned from it. I'm 22, and about to graduate next week, however I want to pursue my law degree, and need 3 years till that JD, and my girlfriend still has 6 years left till she graduates from Dental school. It's not that I'm not mature enough to take care of a child, as I am and willing if it happened, it's that I would be ill-prepared.

I dont like kids, and whatever you do if you mess up is really your choice, although there are TONS of methods to avoid pregnancy, just use the scientific ones: condoms, pills, inyections and stuff...the "folk-knowledge" ones are really just plain and simple crap, and even if they might work, you just got lucky XD...
Myself? I dont need to worry about that, thanks chemotherapy, that thing fried my balls up lol. I can ejaculate but I dont have any sperm XD. and I have a Girlfriend :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD XD
