FAKKU! Calendar '09

Well thanks! yes,i think it looks i little more eye-friendly now. If everyone think it's ok then that'll be it. Anyway now i'm still working on something else. Mizusawa, your pic looks sweet!

@ Techeese: It all depends on what kind of colouring you want to make, either cell-shading or a more smooth shading; if you are going with the smooth one you can use the brush and the one with a drop (the version i have of sai doesn't have the names of the brushes...) for blending by presing softly the pen against the tablet (if you have one), to give hair a little more texture you can use the brush with the drop, lowering the size and pressing hard and making strokes following the hair's direction, then you can use the pencil for adding little shines, you can you for this a couple of colours depending on the light I've never tryed cell-shading with sai :( ... well this is more or less the only trick i know for this program... As for her back, i thinks it's ok like that, you only have to give it some shade, depending on the light source

zutroy, the deadline is 25th November, so try and finish your submission before then. I intend to critique and make suggestions on that date, as well as discuss with you all which submission should be in which month. Hopefully we can have everything sorted out by December 1st.

Also, if anyone's free enough and willing to bang out an art of Kallen from Code Geass, please do so. Of course, take care of your submissions first, but it would be great to have our first Motemote Champion grace the first ever FAKKU Calender.

Well this is Code Geass but no Karen, I'll send the full res version (4000 x 3000 px) per mail as indicated, care to post (or mail) the next steps? Will it be printed, compiled in a .rar for download?

I feel like i've seen this one before somewhere.
Is it you who has drawn it or did you copy some already existing pic?

It is 100% original, you may have seen it in my gallery.

Also, understand that given the gigabytes of code geass and general hentai lurking on the internet, I admit the idea on the pose is not a very original so it may, coincidentally, look like some other bazzillon pieces I may have o haven't seen.

But I do not need to copy another piece, as you can see in my gallery, I worked a lot to get where I am in terms of anatomy and color work, and I don't think I need copying something to be on a calendar, if I needed it, I couldn't work from it as I do.

I can tell by the quality and confidence in your strokes that you're a seasoned artist.

Even if the pose is not original, that doesn't mean everything else means nothing. It's not like throwing flesh on a stick figure somehow detracts from the skill attached. *Even mangaka use reference. Other manga or photos*

Well, i can't manage to online everytime before 27th November. That time i will participate to a robotic contest, and prepare the robots for the days before. After 27th maybe?
