Well, the only other real world competitor in the region is the US, and that's only in recent years. I think they have a fair chance to advance past the first round, but I don't have much faith in them getting much farther.
I think the US also has a pretty good chance to advance past the first round, even though England will most likely win group C.

Short on managerial skill more like...they've looked more and more comfortable with Maradona though, let's hope that it translates to good performances, particularly from an otherwise uninspiring Messi.

I think Brazil has the potentially strongest team, while Italy will also be strong. Rngland will not be so good.All 22 players here are fighting for a spot in the starting lineup.
