First Thing You Learned

Besides toasting bread for pb&j?
I learned this well before eggs, or even canned soup. Homemade spaghetti sauce, With fresh mushrooms and onions, all chopped by me, with some instruction from my dad. Thing is, mom preferred my sauce more than his, because I didn't add so much garlic. This was when I was 5. I didn't learn about frying eggs until I was almost 7.

if instant ramen doesn't count... it was beef and vegetable soup (it was really good actually but i can't remember the recipe correctly).I learned through sheer luck by tossing every thing i had and needed to use right away into crock-pot with beef broth and assorted spices...let it cook overnight on low then WABAM I had it dinner the next day.On a side-note I only did this because the veggies and beef where gonna go bad and i didn't feel like cooking the next day. YAY LAZYNESS! :D

The first thing... wow, that goes back.
Something real simple like scrambled eggs, I think. Or fried noodles.
