Frankly I'm tired of this bashing:

IE 8 & 9 is are more than acceptable.

The only problem is computer illiterates using the old versions (5 & 6) even though Windows Update makes you use at least IE 8 nowadays, but ppl just won't upgrade (or properly apply Windows Updates)!

The segment that keeps using these outdated browsers is also the least savvy when it comes to browsing, so they click each and every ad they come across and therefore are most prone to installing virii and spyware.

They are acceptable, but not good enough in terms of speed.

Excuse me, but the whole "which browser is fastest" dick-beating contest is pure, unadulterated bullshit. Is a 10-20 ms delay something that should form the basis of your choice of browser? For anyone sane, that's so fare down the list of priorities that it's not even funny.

Security, ergonomics, (HTTP 5.0/CSS) compliance, resource usage (memory footprint, CPU usage), user familiarity... these are important features of a browser. The mere fact that IE 9 is still IE - in its aesthetics, UI and so on - is a very important feature for a set of basic users who are not adept at learning a new UI.

Ever since I've been working as a sysop, I've become ever more aware that good IT experts give users advice that promotes sane behavior and lets users pick the right tools for their needs. Sometimes that means promoting IE 9, as your 50 something boss won't learn either Chrome or Firefox since he's been using IE all his working life... no, he's not stupid! He's there to make money and since he's your boss, he probably knows something about that. No one's giving a flying fuck about how backwards he's as far as IT is concerned... your job is to make him adjusting to IT easier, not being a smart-ass hipster who shows of his l33t skills.

If you read any manga on your pc or for that mater just view pics at all i strongly recommend mangameeya - it's free and you can customize the hell out of it :) it's simply the best IMHO.
MF mirror - i changed some settings so if you don't like them just delete the "MangaMeeya.ini" file and everything will go to default.

It hasn't been updated in ages. Read this big comparision of various manga/comic readers:

http://comicrack.cyolito.com/forum/7-general/7148-list-of-comic-and-manga-readers

...and then there's Comic Rack, which can do pretty much everything and provides a really smooth reading experience. It can do 2-page reading, smooth scrolling, etc. etc. ...and its database features are nothing to scoff at.

yes you are right that it hasn't been updated in ages although the MMCE version has been translated only recently(last year), but still i can't see any reason why that should be a problem since I've never encountered any bug in 3 years that I've been using it- then again I've just read manga and opened archives to read and nothing else...
Still the site that you pointed out was good and out of them i liked Hamana which had many awesome transitions but still i couldn't find the option to create custom mouse gestures since i don't like to use my keyboard - in MMCE I've created 7 mouse gestures that allow me to do everything i need :). Mouse gestures like: up-right rotate the page right, right-down fit width etc.

I thought that this might come in useful for those who visit NSFW sites either at work, home or wherever and want to erase your tracks.

Um, that isn't free. It still technically comes under the paid section.

What about the KGB Archiver?

You can do a super compression, people are turning games that are like 10gb to like 50mb.

If you are running Windows 7/Previous version, you may need to run it as administrator mode for KGB to install correctly.

Found something similar to VisiPic called Duplicate Finder. Its free version is basically the same thing but easier to use and searches for pictures faster.

Although it has not been updated yet for the latest version of FF, I recommend this add-on for image saving.
Add-On
Hopefully it is updated soon.

It's strange though, since I have and it works fine for me even though I have the latest version of FF XD
