I had mine removed about a month ago. The only issue I had with the surgery was the IV. Mainly because I hate needles. And partially because it felt like somebody stabbed me with fire. But next thing I know I'm laying down in the recovery room and barely know what's going on.
I did, however, slightly overdose myself on hydracodene (took a couple pills too many because I misread the label). That was not fun and resulted in a day spent sleeping and covered in sweat and pain for the ten minutes out of every two hours I was awake.
My only other complaint is that it's fucking difficult to get food out of the holes.
My recovery also took all of six days. That is, after Six days from the morning of my surgery I was good to go again.
