Hiding places, tips and tricks to keep secret stuff secret.

So I know we have the where do you hide your porn file thread but I thought I might broaden the idea into not just porn, but embarrassing vacation/family photo's, your ero manga collection (if you hide them like me.) flash drives full of porn you never want found, your little black book, and pretty much anything you want to hide.
Figured I share some tips and tricks of my own, and if you're bold enough you could share hiding spots and the likes you use.

so here are mine (be prepared my place is like a pervy version of the bat-cave)

Hiding spot/tip 1. Never throw away old tech, I can't count the amount of things I have hidden inside hollowed out NES cartridges. they are perfect for turning into cases for external hard drives, small packets of photo's, small notebooks ect.
I have my external HD of porn hidden in an old duck hunt cartridge and NES game sleeve,my old family photo's where I look like a stooge inside of a hollowed out N64...this is really a sweet tip if you are a tech pack rat, as it blends right in with your other games/old tech.

Hiding Spot/tip 2: ero manga, if you hide them can be tricky.the best way I've found is to use "the false book shelf method" as a cover....I have all my ero-manga in my living room and nobody has found them yet. what I do, is take old books from college or school classes( in perticular I use my brothers college study books for this part) and either use the book sleeve, if it fits, or hollow out and cut away parts of the book it's self to fit over and/or on top of the goods. a prime example of this is my Domin-8 me/Take on me h-manga. I have it tucked inside the sleeve of one of my brothers old college books for comparative religion, since I know none of my friends will go near books like that. which leads me to a point I must stress...use tactics with this, as if you use a book that someone you know would read, it's not going to hide things very well. I also use decorative fake hard back books to cover mine...often times they will slip right over a small group of them, though I mainly use this to hide my more erotic figurines.

Hiding spot/tip 3: duct tape and the bottom/back of low furniture...basic yes I know....but who's going to lift up your sofa before you have time to move your stuff. take a porn game slap some duct tape on it and put it on the bottom/backs of your sofa, or a coffee table TV stand,etc.as long as you don't lose your remote you're good here, but using the BACKS of things against the wall is usually a better bet then the bottom. just be sure to remove them if you plans on moving furniture.

I have framed art prints in my room. I put emergency money inside the frame.
I also hide some bills inside some of my books. Like stated above, books that no one would want to read.

My porn is out in the open... it's not like my wife cares... she read them too.. slick slick.

i used to hide mypron dvds inside my gunpla box and when i`m travelling,i hide em inide the cd/ps2 case.
for now i just hide my emergency US$ inside one of my manga in bookshelf.

If you have a wood floor you can pry up one of the boards and hide stuff under it, or if the walls of your house are hollow you can make a hole in the wall put stuff in the wall then cover up the hole or put something in front of it.

the girls I date don't usually care either....it's my family I have to worry about, as some of them aren't quite old enough to understand what porn is yet and some of them are....way too into their religion.

on the topic of the picture frames...I might start hiding my commissioned prints behind my photo's now. they've been the hardest thing for me to conceal.

it's funny that you provide all these tips here but i put my stash out in the open technically.I put my laptop on top of my ero-manga(...my place is pretty cramped...)so if someone wants to use it they immediately see my stash.

I used to have a big stack of blank CD's all racked up together in one of those round holders that you just put the CDs on top of one another. Some of the CDs actually contained a bunch of hentai. I kept them not all the way at the bottom but somewhere between the middle and bottom. :3

Not really. I used to count the disks. Like it would be 6 disks up from the bottom for example. :3

now that makes it easier..

I put it in my currently used college textbooks and slip it in. When I want to use it I told them that I'm going to 'study'. Works if your textbook is thick only though.

I put everything in tampon boxes. :D

I keep everything digital.

...Well, everything physical I had are all above a ceiling tile above my dorm room, which I forgot to get before the summer break.
Edit: It's easier if you mark the ceiling tile with "Sex!!" or "-insert a girl name here- is hot!!" so you won't forget the location. Most people would think it is a prank and probably won't check.

here's hoping they don't decide to do maintenance. I'd say that's a good idea for apartments with tiled ceilings as well...you guys are freaking ninjas when it comes to good hiding ideas btw.

I hide some thing in my underwear box under the underwear. funny thing is, It's full of old underwear that doesn't fit, so I never uncover it unless i need it.. Yet the parents don't seems to go 'OLD STUFF, THROW OUT!' Probs cause I'm skilled.

But other than that, I'd say, under beds, and if I really wanted to, in old pc cases.. I have two pc's lying around, I could chuck some manga in there if need be, and it'd be safe from harm.. besides dust...
